Lake Catherine State Park in AR
Spotted this beauty with Oregon tags on TV checking in to Lake Catherine State Park. They left Visitor Center while we were in line and then parked just down from us. Unfortunately they pulled out this morning before we could say “Hi! Welcome to AR!” Safe travels and come back soon!

Airstream sightings
Hunting Island State Park, SC. There were 3 other Airstreams here when we arrived. Yesterday, a parade of Airstreams came in! It was a sight to see. I was unable to get all the pictures due to the weather and they were all trying to get settled before it began raining.

Good News - we saw more ASs on this year's trip than on past trips. We saw Bambis, Basecamps, Vintage coaches, big rigs, fiberglass mohos, other 23s, and a 25 or two. We camped next to an AS, we had two pull in after we stopped on our first overnight and we spent the last night at the opposite end of the campground from a nice Bambi. We did mostly travel in the South. Maybe ASs migrate to where it's warmer.  Pat

SilverTravelers.com a local Phoenix trailer business. One of our few remaining despite how big of a city we are. Lots of pretty vintage trailers in all levels of repair.

We saw 3 other Airstreams at the campground during our shakedown trip to South Beach State Park in Oregon this weekend. Didn't get a chance to chat with anyone though...

Saw this beautiful new Globetrotter and happy owners just pulling out of Panther Creek State Park in Tennessee. They traded their Bambi in on this gorgeous Globe, and have that affliction of the new owners. Can't get the smile off their faces. I can see why.

I never really paid attention to passing Airstreams until I got a 22sport and became sensitized to silver. Then I realized just how uncommon it was to spot another tin can, whether on the road, in a campground, or in someones driveway. Boy, this is an addictive game.

We’re at the Prince William Forest Park in Dumfries, VA. There are three Airstreams here this week (inc. ours).

We've stayed there a couple of times, don't recall seeing any other AS while we were there. It's a nice CG, would stay there anytime. Easy access, decent bathrooms, close to shopping and mostly quiet. There is some "thunder" from nearby Quantico, but nothing that would keep you awake.

Thanksgiving travels I-30 AR
Sorry for the delayed post, but life has kept me busy! Creeped past a beautiful Excella (30 ft?) AND a lovely Signature heading west on I-30 between Arkadelphia and Hope, AR Tuesday afternoon, Nov 26th! We were all alternating between dead standstill and creeping due to a fender bender. I hope you made it safely to your destinations and had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
