Triple sighting of same trailer for a bad reason

Headed over Vail Pass westbound on Saturday morning. As we went by the CDOT maintenance yard, saw that there was an Airstream trailer in the yard, hooked to a silver pickup with its hood up.

About two and a half hours later, I was watching traffic on the west side of the pass. I saw a flatbed tow truck hauling the trailer down the pass toward Vail, then several minutes later they went by again eastbound.

Let's offer good wishes for quick repairs and smooth travels next time!

Also saw four other Airstreams on I-70 in the space of about an hour.

As I drive around this part of Ontario I see airstreams almost daily. Sometimes I have multiple sightings like today, but rarely do I see older interesting ones like today’s sightings.

The first was sighted on highway #93 near Waverley Ontario today at 13h53. It appears to be a Volvo SUV towing an older 20 something footer. Nice rig.

This one was spotted on Highway #11 heading south near the 9th line of Oro at about 15h43. Seems to be a freshly painted Argosy with a nice green (not matching though) van pulling it.

A good day for Airstream spotting.

Passed this little beauty on i80 on our way to Pocono.
Got a good thumbs up from driver, tow vehicle was an early 50s dodge.

We passed this beauty on Hwy 401 westbound west of Toronto last Friday. This is a rental unit from a company in Quebec called Refacing VR Signé N.

If you look closely it also has the side doors of a funeral coach. Mine has the rear door but no pano windows. It must be pretty crowded fitting everything back there.

At the Canandaigua/Rochester KOA on the weekend.
Didn’t see anyone at the trailer all weekend so couldn’t say hi.

Maumelle Park Campground sightings

We just drove through the Maumelle Park Campground in Little Rock on the Arkansas River. It still looks VERY high to me, but it is my first drive through this beautiful park. We will definitely camp here soon! Spotted these three beauties on our drive!

This weekend was NASCAR in Bristol, TN. On my way to church this morning I counted 95 tired RVs from exit 57 to exit 66 on I-81. There was one silver beauty among the ordinary. I was driving so I didn't get a pic. She was at least a 30 ft or more. I didn't even look at the tv. I will do better next time!

I was on my motorcycle yesterday riding Lolo Pass from Idaho in to Montana. Saw two Airstreams. One looked to be a 20’ sport pulled by a 4Runner. He/she wasn’t having any trouble with the decent or curves. Then I saw another AS pulled over to the shoulder near the top of the Pass. Looked like a 25-27 pulled by a GM/Chevy pickup. Didn’t look like car trouble more like a break. Hope you were alright. Sorry I didn’t stop. Lolo Pass was spectacular yesterday. Especially on a bike

I was on I-90 last week going through that area with my 23' and 4Runner, not US-12. It was a beautiful drive in spite of the rain and fog. My wife got scared and doesn't want to go back that way again, but I'd do it again. It's one of the most beautiful drives I've ever done. I saw another AS going the other way but was pretty busy with rain and traffic.

I was very impressed with the speed that 4Runner maintained through some pretty twisty curves and a steep descent on 13 to 12. It was amazing. I went fairly slow though as the Lewis & Clark info kept pulling me over.
