A quick shout out to Niko and family we met in Baton Rouge, John we met in Georgia, south of Macon and Don and family in Pigeon Forge.

Great trip, in spite of the two new tires and one new wheel along the way.

Sounds like a wonderful trip Roy and Marie! What campgrounds did you visit in Florida?

We went for a quick 1 night outing to Rocky Springs on the Natchez trace, 1/2 of the campground was still full of the folks from Ontario making their way home but we managed to snag a site. Had a newer 25-28' loop thru the park and a mid 70's also. We made new friends when a '60 International Ambassidor showed up. Really cool trailer

Remax gal,

Thanks for asking about our stops in Florida. We stayed at LazyDays near Tampa, Land Yacht Harbor in Melbourne, Kozy Kampers in Ft. Lauderdale (we actually put our trailer in storage for a quick 9 day cruise there) and, of course Ft. Wilderness, because I always wanted to try it. Folks were great at every CG.
Next time through Florida, we want to include the Everglades and the Keys, although those CGs appear to need more advance reservations. We generally just tumble along with a general idea of where we want to go, see where we are around noon, then call ahead for a site for that night.

Great way to travel! That's what we enjoy as well! There are so many nice places in the Keys and unless lobster season or winter season, you can usually get in. We stayed at Blue Water - it was quite lovely but expensive!! Thanks for the info!

That was probably me pulling a 30 Classic. I had been to Paradise and back. Paradise, Tx. that is. Had my trailer pressure tested for leaks.

We are also going to A&P Vintage Trailer Works in Paradise, TX the first week of May for more custom work following US 60 out of the Phoenix area and stopping at Pie Town for nourishment.

Saw a nice 28-footer at the Billings KOA where we were camped last night. Wanted to say "Hi," but nobody was home.

Yesterday in Boone, NC saw a newer Flying Cloud in the parking lot of the Lowes home store. Looked like maybe 25-27 ft. Hitched to a Jeep. I think maybe they spent the night. Good looking rig.

On an episode of Auction Hunters on 4/18/15 10pm one of the units they bid on had a wrecking ball in it along with other construction/demolition equipment. When they sold the demolition equipment the person they sold it too let them use it to destroy 2 old Airstream Trailers, 1 looked to be a 30ft early 80's, the other mid 60's 30fter, guess them guys don't know their business too well as they could have sold both for 2500 each for restoration and made 5000.00 instead of 1500 for the equipment. Anyone on here from Hollywood should let them know of the blunder they made.
