Yep - very likely a categorical truth.

I saw one yesterday coming from work. It was a newer one going east bound I-70 from Kansas City Missouri. No red numbers on it but nice to see one on the road after a hard day at work to make you smile the rest of the way home.

Unless there's another trailer in the photo that I missed (I'm reading the forums on my phone at the moment) the Argosy you saw is the genuine article, not vintage kin. My own Argosy, for example, has official Big Red Numbers.

We've been on the road for a week. We saw a couple zip by on the highway, but Airstreams are rare! We did flash the lights and wave at each other. Finally we find one in our beautiful Massena NY campground. She looks like an extended stay rig. This is a lovely young lady that hosts her family on summer weekends. It's a 34' Excella, maybe late 90s. The red numbers suggest a long time Airstream enthusiasts. Our 34' Limited is maybe like an older woman with issues, not so young anymore.

As I was heading to Pella Iowa this morning, I saw a vintage AS on the side of the road. The street side was jacked up, and the tire and wheel were missing. Nobody around.

On my way back, I noticed that it was still there, so I turned around and pulled in behind. Still, nobody there. It had Iowa plates from Polk County, which is just 2 counties west of here. so I wasn't too worried about the owner being able to find a tire for it. No WBCC numbers.

Made me think about the debate about ST tires. Perhaps I should order some Michelin tires and 16" wheels for mine before that is me sitting along side the highway.

Any numbers on the trailer?
Thirteen panel?
I'd love to take a look at the trailer / meet the owner.
