Airstream sightings

We just got back from two weeks in Austria, Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia, and this was the only Airstream we saw. It's at the Hotel Daniel in Vienna. We didn't get a chance to go back for a closer look.

Spotted two here in Thurston County (one possibly being repaired? Or professionally polished?) I never can get pictures as I'm always driving, and my passengers tend to give funny looks when I beg them to snap a photo.

Then this sad old girl showed up on the Seattle Craigslist. Owner wants a laughable price for the poor beast. It's a shame it was let go for so long, and apparently scavenged for parts.

I wonder what scrap metal is going for these days. It would probably cost more to attempt to move it than it is worth.

Saw this one in our hometown of Heber Springs, AR earlier. Expedition towing what appeared to be maybe 24footer, not familiar with the newer models though. Have a safe trip.

Last Tuesday, April 11, me and wifee saw on I-75 south of Lima Ohio, we think we saw a triple axle AS headed north pushing a mini-van.
I mean it was mid morning and I was sober.
Its kinda rural and we were rolling pretty good down 75, headed south
( home) and all of a sudden on the Northbound side, this AS seemed to appear from nowhere, and I am pretty sure there was a blue mini-van in front of it.
I forgot to post here cause we didn't get a pic and we also stopped at Jackson Center, bought a bunch of trinkets in the AS store, and I forgot everything that happened before the AS factory store. It was like visiting a national monument or something. I did get some corrosion-X, its good stuff, but I digress.

That part of Ohio is flat, but still. I'm not judging.

Then I thought I had a Ivory billed woodpecker on the Redbud tree in my front yard last Thursday! But was a Pileated woodpecker, when I finally got the book out . He was still very impressive !
The AS with the mini-van was impressive too.
No telling what you might see out in this great country

We live two miles from our dealership. Lucky for us to see new ones being delivered. Bad news for our salesman Paul at Ewald Airstream. We stop in on a regular basis just to look. Hoping to buy soon.

This morning we met a white TV pulling a 23 through the edge of Concord on Ignacio Valley Road. They were looking very new and shiny. Must have been getting an early start on the sunny weekend we have ahead. Made us jealous.

Thats an Avion Looks like a 26' or 28', and based on rear bumper, I believe a 1978/79 model.
