Spotted an airstream in Yorkton SK (Canada) today. It was parked in the Canada Tire parking lot. I waited around for a bit to see if the owners would come back but could only stay a few minutes. The trailer had WBCCI # 28687 and both the trailer and Ford truck had Ontario plates. I tried to look up the WBCCI number in the current directory, but was not listed.

To bad we did not connect as it would have been fun to touch base.

There were 3 airstreams here at Fort Desoto here in St Pete. We met on couple here last night in a 2009.model. There is another 60's model trailer we have not met yet. This is not my favorite park so far. We have a great view of the mangroves. The traffic to get here was not fun.

Is park crowded? Doesn't it have no pet section?

Camped at an Airstream only park (Ponderosa Shadows) last night near Show Low, AZ. We saw about 30 Airstreams including older Airstream fifth wheel models, a couple of Airstream motor homes and a square 'stream.

Out of curiosity, we stopped to see the place on the way home from the 4CU Santa Fe Summer Rally and found several shares (each with an assigned lot) were for sale out of the maximum population of 40 spaces. After meeting several residents, having a dinner with a couple of them and meeting the owners of a space for sale, we completed a deposit and initial paperwork to acquire a space.

There is some paper work to be completed and submitted to the BoD for approval before the sale can be completed.

Saw what looked to be a '60s Airstream getting on the freeway at mile marker 338 heading southbound onto I-15 about 1330 today. I followed it up 5600 in Roy Utah about a half mile back. Couldn't get a good line of site on it since stop lights kept holding me back. Hope you were having a good trip.

The park was just about full. Although there were no dogs in our section there were idiots with the outdoor entertainment systems that tended to ruin the camping experience. I usually camp to enjoy nature not someone's stereo system. If you like to fish or paddle around in a small boat, I guess it would be more appealing to us. I would rather go to some place like St Joe State Park than go here again. I guess there are more yuppies in FL that like to show off their noisy toys.

The beaches and piers were nice. The Fort was an afterthought. It was kinda like well their use to be a fort here. It was not a focal point of the park. The place is really hard to get to. You have to travel through a lot of traffic and toll roads and bridges etc. Fort Pickens in Pensacola was more educational from a history standpoint. The Naval Museum and the Blue Angles are fun as well. Stuff is more spread out than at Fort Desoto.

We saw a couple more Airstreams in the Mount Dora, FL area. These were parked in yards.
