Where you going - west bound I-10 Gulfport, Mississippi today. Airstream looked real nice but I forgot the type of tow vehicle. Nice to see you on the road.

Yes, we did! They live in hummm..... Cayucos a little town North of Morro Bay a ways... on Hwy 1. Anyway, they are photographers, have a studio where they specialize in wedding photography. But when we saw them they were having a "break" and didn't bring their cameras! The gal was grumpy as she really wanted to take pics of our vintage bambi! Naturally they were great people, they were Airstreamers!

I live about 20 minutes from Cayucos...I know I have at least one photo of that little Bambi...I could probably find the one wedding photo business in Cayucos...see the trend here...?

I was going I-24 West toward Nashville 3 or 4 weeks ago and spotted a 28-31' Airstream being pulled by what looked like a silver Ford van on the I-24 East side headed toward Chattanooga. Anyone on the forum?

Sightings in Seiad!
Howdy all,
We went for a lovely drive along the Klamath River [on Hwy 96] and then over to the Scott River in the great State of Jefferson on a more local road... While on Hwy 96 we went through Seiad Valley just a little before the town of Happy Camp and saw not one, but two Airstreams! One was an Airstream Motor Home and the other a trailer. You might have to look to see the trailer "up the hill"...

on I-12 near Hammond, LA
Saw what looked like a 70s Sovereign or Ambassador heading east on I-12 on Saturday. Maybe a Suburban TV.

My son found a Globetrotter parked in a yard in Austin. He said in pretty bad shape....looks like it has been junked. Serial # 193D161....also has picture of man on bicycle pulling a trailer. Does anyone know the age? If so, please email me at antqfun@aol.com. I have a 1969 Caravel I share with son and grandkids. Recently took it for polish job...got really reasonable quote, then got email that last owner had it clearcoated....so guess I will live with what I have, still in good shape, and grandkids will be old enough in 4-5 yrs that we will have a major "remove clearcoat and repolish" vacation.

We went to Disney World this past weekend for the President's Day Holiday and I saw four Airstreams and an Argosy on the way down from Atlanta. While at Ft. Wilderness, I saw a fellow Forum member and their families in their respective Airstreams (add two) and a Land Yacht in the same loop that we were in. I saw a CCD and another fairly new Airstream in another loop and passed another Land Yacht with a toad on the way back, plus I saw an additional six Airstream trailers on the way back to Atlanta. That made a total of 14 trailers, two Land Yachts, and an Argosy all within a four day weekend! That's the most I have seen on one trip.

Hi MM!
The Land Yacht with a toad--where did you see it, and what sort of toad was it? It might have been us driving our new baby home from Savannah, GA. We were towing a red 1994 Honda Civic.
We saw quite a few AS's on our trip to GA and back to Arkansas--probably about 8 or 10 trailers (including a newer one at Fort McAllister campground near Savannah) and there was an old Argosy MH with what looked like a small Argosy trailer right behind on the north side of I-40 (near Memphis?) sitting next to someone's shop or stable building.
Yay to all of us out with our Airstreams!!

Airstreams on the Road
The big WBCCI rally over in Sarasota, FL this week, is probably one reason for all the Airstreams on the road in this area. I've been watching several leave the Land Yacht Harbor (pictures in this thread) the last few days, headed in that direction.
