A banner day

On my drive from Yucca Valley to Valencia today I spotted five Airstreams goin east.

The two highlights were a shiny Bambi Numbered 1969 and a 34 footer with a Mural on the side of the three Patriots. Guy with a fife another with a drum and the center one carrying an American flag. You've seen it before.

I suspect they are Region 12 folks heading to Blythe for the Hobo Rally. But I could be wrong.

They are using it as a curb in the parking area! I think I hear a wild animal under the sink! Every time I turn on the light switch by the sink I hear it under there going GRRR! GRRR! GRRR! Ed

I seen a newer A/S on sunday in a small park "HO HUM " in a little town in Florida called Carrabelle Florida on HWY 98 About 30 miles south of Apalachacola Florida. This was a small park but it was 20 feet from the gulf of mexico ...

The View from my Office

Here's what I look at every day from my office. Beyond the parking lot is the Land Yacht Harbor in Melbourne, Florida (there is a review of this park in the forum). The park has over 300 sites with 50 designated for SOBs. This is just the west end of the park. Now you can see why I came down with Aluminitus

You can stitch these together in a panorama.

Wow!!

Nice contribution! Thanks!

I did in fact stitch them together. Can I have your permission to post it in my Flickr account with credit to you? If not I understand.

I think you located the mother lode. Nice view and perfectly understandable why you came down with the disease.

Friday I saw what I think was a Flying Cloud heading east on HWY 138 in Union City, GA. I was exiting I-85 south bound and was on the exit ramp when a dark Dodge truck pulling a vintage Airstream went by. I could only see the road side, but it had two large windows near the front and a whale tale. Was this anyone from the forum?

Sorry, no picture, but my son just had an airstream sighting... my daughter, while doing the dishes, scraped a drawing of an airstream into a pan of coagulated bacon grease!

Obsessed, like mom!

Get her some help - quick. Once she gets money she will spend it all on an Airstream - then it's too late, there will be no cure.

Sighting at Disneyland inside Park!

While at Disneyland in California recently ~ at the "new" California Park we saw this Airstream just sitting next to a stage!

More Sightings!

On our way home from Disneyland we decided to camp at Avila Beach near San Luis Obispo... We drove down the road towards the camp area and decided we just had to park next to this sweet new Bambi!
