Fruitful day! On the road from Lake Manatee SP to Johnathon Dickinson SP in Florida, passed a westbound vintage Bambi on SR 70. At Johnathon Dickinson, five Airstream basking in the Florida sun- two 18' Bambies, a 28' International, a 28' Classic, and a rare bird: 30' Classic with slide out. Florida is the preferred habitat for Airstreams in winter.

Just watched "Gotham" season 1, episode 16 on NetFlix. Lots of Airstreams were used by carnival folks ;-)

As we were departing Jonathon Dickinson SP near Hobe Sound FL, there were several trailers in the entry station parking lot, waiting for their site. One was a 30' Classic, maybe a year or so newer than our '08.

Oscar Scherer State Park near Sarasota, Fl. When we arrived, passed a sharp looking 23 ft or so, with WBCCI 4869 displayed proudly.

Went by the local dealership today. They just got in a 26U and a Pendelton (15 of 100). Between the two of them I have found my perfect Airstream. Take the dinette seating out of the 26U and graft it into the Pendelton. The Pendelton has the most god awful uncomfortable seating. Hard, straight back and not at all placed for comfortable TV watching or just basic comfort. On the other hand it has the most beautiful cabinets, flooring and counter tops that I have ever seen in a stock Airstream. Great layout other than the horrible couches. Only $115K to the lucky buyer.

Parked next to us at the shop...an 80s Excella motorcoach with a border of real pennies. I'm estimating $770 worth (and I did win the candy corn jar guess this year, haha). Had a company logo on the side.
Additionally, 5 out of 50 spots in our campground are Airstreams! We've had so many through this campground. All around 25-27 footers tonight.
