Saw an excella over this past weekend in Hixon TN at Chester frost park (30 min outside Chattanooga )

Got no photo unfortunately - looked in fantastic condition - perhaps a newly applied clear coat

Just returned from a 900 mile trip to Texas-
Didn't see any Airstreams, but did see 2 Avion trailers and an Airstream B190.
A Casita/Scamp/Escape rally was moving into Salmon Lake Park as we were moving out.

Our trip to Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina and Kentucky netted 6 sightings with the latest being last night and this morning. A couple full timing in a 25 headed for the Outer Banks for a volunteer position starting in January. They were camped across the way at Village Creek State Park, Arkansas which is a nice park 42 miles west of Memphis and 13 miles north of I-40. Just wish that it wasn't 399 miles from home. A long days tow but a good halfway point in our annual trek to Bowling Green KY

Does the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile with vanity plate BIG BUN count?

We were at St Joseph State Park last week in Port St Joe, FL. There were 5 Airstreams. We met 3 of the other owners, waved to one, and didn't meet the 5th because they were in a different loop. We ended up having beverages at the beach with two of the couples watching the sunset. We were the last six people on the beach walking home in the dark. We exchanged info with one of the couples and are sure we will camp with them in the future. We've met some of our best friends camping with our Airstream. I loved the post that asked "when you see another Airstream while camping, do you make a point of introducing yourself?" We always do if the owners are out and not eating or involved in some other way where it would seem intrusive if we walked into their campsite.

We saw 8 Airstreams on our trip through the Hudson River Valley this weekend. This may be a new single weekend record.

Beautiful part of the country, great time of year to visit.

Two days ago spotted two 30 plus footers on I10 west bound just north of Ocean Springs, MS. Currently surrounded by aluminum at Top Of Georgia Airstream Park.

There are at least 4 other airstreams in the Albuquerque KOA right now. Plus us. A lady pulled in yesterday afternoon with a 2012 AS. She shouted out a greeting as she was following the KOA golf cart to her assigned space. She made it a point to yell something about fellow Airstreamers. She came over about half an hour later and asked if we were the red truck and Airstream that passed her at about 75 mph coming from Arizona, honking a hello as we went by.
I said no, it wasn't us. We tow at 65 and the horn on the F 250 doesn't work. Besides, we came from the north....not the west...
Then it started raining and she scooted back to her trailer. We would have liked to talk more, she seemed real nice. But it poured all afternoon. In NM, no less.

To be honest I never considered forming a relationship based upon a consumer brand or marketing pressure. It's a camping/travel trailer. And that's how we think of it. This whole "Airstreamer" thing is a bit of a puzzle. Never happened with my Jamboree Class C.

As I was coming back from the Island, spotted a rig heading Eastbound on A1A/FL 200, a 25 or 27 ft Safari a few miles east of Yulee heading out to Amelia Is., most likely Fort Clinch SP. Man, the weather has been great for the past several weeks with highs in the 70s and lows around 50 and more of the same forecast for all of next week. Good Choice!

Saw this one outside a thrift shop on highway going through Carabelle, FL. I love the creative use of an AS in the aftermarket world.

I have a pre-digital photo of the same unit taken in 1999. (I think) Even then she appeared to be extremely comfortable in her environment. She appears to be exactly the same today. Jim

We were out on a short weekend trip to Little Pee Dee State Park in Dillon County SC and actually had 3 sightings. One was just staying overnight there. They came in late but did get to say hello to them as they were pulling out early to go to Hunting Island State Park in Beaufort SC. As we traveled back home we spotted 2 more on Hwy 501 probably coming from Myrtle Beach SC? Unusual to see that many in such a short time span "bonus".

Quick sighting this afternoon on I-77 northbound just north of the Akron-Canton Airport. New unit (~23 ft) with pano windows front and back. Too quick to catch the tow vehicle or snap a photo. We were southbound w/o A/S.

Passed a 19ft Bambi behind a Nissan Titan southbound on I-77 near Rock Hill yesterday. Was in the car, so didn't go nuts waving.
