The numbers on the trailers are: 17559 and 31751.
Both of those members were from the same unit of the club. They belonged to Unit #001 Alabama. There were no caravans listed for either member.
They may have just been travelling together or possibly returning from an International Rally.

There's a vintage trailer in my neighborhood in the parking lot of a place called Grand Catering in Alameda. It doesn't look like it's being turned into a food vending mobile...yet.

Maybe I don't know any better, but that's a big roof vent for an RV. I'm thinking there's an industrial kitchen under all that shine.

Agree, I would bet it is already being using for their catering business.

Just saw a Land Yacht pulling a toad eastbound on I-20 in Ruston, La. Hope you're going somewhere warm!

"Mintage" now "Blue Moon Caravans"

Our local Airstream refurbisher was bought out by their employees and now trying to make a go of it -- learning while doing. I'm always supportive of any "made in America" enterprise but especially if it has to do with folks trying to restore Airstreams and, as the two guys here also say, "a few canned hams here and there." This is in East Missoula, just off Interstate 90 and there are several more 50's-70's era Airstreams inside, on the side, and behind the building. They are fun to just look at and marvel.

Blue Moon Caravans

Thanks for the shout out OilnH2o! Just want to point out that while we cut our teeth and learned a ton at Mintage, we are a new and different company with experience.
Take care all,

Kent Kraemer

Mr. and Mrs. Matt Kokkonen

Here's one- a couple had stopped on our down town square and were about to leave when I came darting up with my camera and asked for a shot of them.
They were on their way to Arkansas - coming from California.
By the way, they had never heard of the AIR-Forums (huh?) But I told them they were now on our Airstream Sightings List. ...
I forgot to ask them what they were towing- it was a pretty fast visit.
Got home and told Randee my cat and he said ...'Cool.' ...

A couple years ago I planned to stop into Mintage on our way through Missoula. We wanted to visit, but ended up needing work done. When our 2007 AS converter went out, one of Mintage's employees stayed late to replace the converter. Mintage was ok with his off-the-clock work. Mintage was busy gutting and prepping to shine up their Curtis Wright trailer for some sort of TV show pilot episode. Nice folks. Good fishing nearby.

Pinkflamigoes, thanks for the nice reply. Website and FB page are in works, when we get some breathing room they will be up, sometime in the next month or so.

Streamer23, I remember you stopping by. I think I was busy with the prep work, but our mechanical guy Will did the swap out. That tv show business didn't go anywhere, just 100's and 100's of hours and late nights. It was an interesting experience though!
