Saw a 16' new (2007 or later?) bambi being pulled by a black pickup near the intersection of US 6 and State Road 15 in Milford, Indiana at about 5:00. Hello to whoever that was. Hope you didn't see my face pressed against the car window

Just saw this Classic with Washington plates northbound I-25 by Windsor, CO. Waved but they probably thought I was weird seeing as I was in my car... Wendy

We have had our Interstate 5 1/2 years, and have put 123,000 miles on it in 5 years of retirement.

This past Sunday, September 30, we saw only our second Interstate out on the road......this being at an intersection in Charlottesville, VA!!!

Looked to be perhaps a 2005. They waved, we waved.

We've always wondered where all the Interstates are, as we know they're being sold but never see them. ???

I'm sure this has been posted before but it is still my favorite TV/AS combo. Taken at Premier RV park, Coburn, OR (near Eugene) in late August 2012. I think that this is its permanent home right next to I-5. and near the University of Oregon. Go Ducks!

Saw this cutie in Flagstaff this morning. A '59 "Land Yacht" that they towed out of a field and restored. Oregon plates, prolly one of the best restorations I've ever seen! Sorry I did not get any interior shots, but it was perfect. If any of you are going to be at the hot-air get-together in New Mexico, look her up. Her name is "Rose" and she is, indeed, a sweetheart.

Airstream sightings

Two Airstream sightings today . . . one sitting in a storage facility behind the Pizza Inn located in Paducah, KY . . . 1970s Tradewind. Later while merging onto Interstate 57 South at Johnston City, IL, I noticed a late Model Airstream (25-28') being towed by a dark color late model pickup with cap (could have been Suburban or Excursion).

Earlier in the day, I spotted a non-Airstream RV headed South on Interstate 57 near Goreville, IL (about 11 AM). The RV in question was what appeared to be a well-restored Ultra-Van Motorhome. The coach had a very good paint job with highly polished alloy wheels. It looked like the one in the photo below, but it didn't have the blue stripe . . . but it had those wheels.

I saw a number of Airstreams while on the way here to the Balloon Fiesta rally.

Thursday 4 October:

On US287 NW-bound, spotted a late-model probably Safari, pulled by a gray Tundra stopped at a rest area near Decatur around 1 PM.

On US287 SE-bound, saw a big late-model trailer (possibly a Classic) towed by a Chevy or GMC truck around 4 PM, west of Quanah.

Friday 5 October:
In New Mexico on I40 East-bound, just before 9 AM, between Santa Rosa and Moriarty: Widebody mid-size (25? 27?) pulled by tall, black or dark blue 4WD pickup.

My latest obsession

Thanks for the pics, Brad! I saw my first Vixen in the late spring/early summer driving through Saskatoon while I was on my way to work. Thank goodness it was early and there wasn't any traffic because I was swerving trying to get a good look at the name! I was smitten and immediately started doing research, and like that --(poof!)-- another obsession!! Sadly, I never caught the plates, nor was I able to talk to the owner.

As it was driving toward me, it looked like a big DeLorean. Through my research, I discovered I'm not the only one who thinks that. Now I'm on a quest for a Vixen. These pics made my day!

We were towing today...heading E on I-84.
We saw an unpolished late 70s/early 80s Airstream heading W on I-84 just inside the Conneticut border at about 4pm today (10/7/2012.) White tow vehicle (we think.) Guessing the trailer was 34'. Did you see us?

On my way home from the balloon fiesta rally, I saw a late model Bambi towed by a white GMC truck stopped at a gas station on US 84 in Sudan Texas at a ridiculously late hour.
