We all agree this unit is HOT.

Why does Airstream not do this with their MB Chassis?

Two Bambies!

Sunday July 15-we were traveling on it 71 North toward Kansas City in MO. From the 71 we saw two older (50s/60s?) bambies (one polished, one not) at a QT just south of Kansas City, MO. We were towing too and we were so tempted to turn around and meet you.

I drove from Tampa to Topsail Island NC (over 10 hours) and back and only saw one stinking Airstream. I thought for SURE, I'd see at least 5. This was 75 and 95 for cripes sake. Left on a Saturday and came back on a Sunday. One Airstream both ways. I feel jipped!

I've joked about that very thing. Airstream says somewhere around 60-80%(?) are still on the road, then where are they

We did go camp fathers day weekend at Petit Jean state park in Arkansas and there were three Airstreams in a row with pull through sites overlooking the lake. We talked to the family in the middle one, a 75 sovereign, and that's just the way it happened, wasn't planned or anything.

They say 80% of the world's statistics are made up.

Yesterday while driving on Bloomingdale Ave. in Brandon Fl in pretty heavy traffic, I saw what looked an Airstream ahead on the side of the road. Traffic was being routed around it. As I got closer it was in fact an Airstream blocking the right lane. The pickup pulling it was half up on the curb and the police were there directing cars around it. No idea what happened, but it looked as though he might have been forced off the road. I'm too slow with my cell phone camera to have gotten a picture without causing an accident. Hopefully everything was alright. It was a beige/gold Chevy pickup and what looked like an 80's 25' or larger trailer. Strange sight to see, as I rarely see AS's in the busy traffic areas of Tampa Bay.

Spotted a 25' footer, late 60s, with white wheels and baby moon hubcaps heading south on 65 highway south of Ozark MO and north of Branson this morning.

Just traveled from Dallas, TX to Savannah, Ga. 2300 mile round trip. We saw 1 Airstream on I-75 south of Atlanta. It was hard to believe that 1 is all we saw.

The same thing happened to me! I went from Savannah to Hot Springs, AR and saw none until my last hour and saw 2! I always actively look for them!

We see 'em around. I want to say we've seen at least one on almost all of our trips so far this season.

On our last trip, we very briefly saw one on the PA Turnpike at the I-83 interchange. We were just pulling out of the toll plaza to get on east bound, and my wife saw the tail of an Airstream go by west bound (I never saw it). It's likely they never saw us, and we didn't have a good enough description to post here.

Passed a B-190 yesterday eastbound on I-90 near Big Timber, Montana. I had to look twice - it was the first time I'd ever actually seen one!
