Kevin, yes, the Argosy you see in the 34 foot photo is the Argosy in the other photos. Have a day off tomorrow, but no idea if I'll have time to get by that RV park to see about Argosy.
Anyone out there want an 'Argosy project'??? I'll check if you PM me.
Thanks, Derek

I'm confused -- tho't 'S' was for California and 'O' was for Ohio... Any experts on Californie wheel wells out there?

My photo and Vintage Airstream's don't agree on door positions... ?! Pics of the name badge by request.

Not sure if you ever got an answer, but the S in the vin on my Argosy meant it was manufactured in California

Airstream in St Andrews Scotland

Saw this when we were in St Andrews, Scotland last month. St Andrews is home of the famous Old Course for you golfers.

Spoke to the couple who was using it to sell clothing in the central area of the town. They got if from Florida in January 2011. The inside is completely empty except for some clothing racks. They tow it through the narrow streets to different locations. Converted to have a surge hitch. It is in St Andrews about 2-3 days per week and was busy. Really nice people.

Saw two Airstreams when I was looking at covered storage, they are full but I'm on the waiting list.

Since this thread is about sightings; When watching the NBC news about the storms, was that an AS that was lying on its side along I-40 in Kansas? Just got a glimpse so not sure.

Airstream seen in Covent Garden, London, UK December fourth.

I was in London for business earlier this month, and ran across this unit in Covent Garden. It was modified for food service use. I had a nice mulled cider and spoke briefly with the fellow selling drinks; he mentioned the owner was quite proud of the unit.

Airstream, Argosy, Sightings

On our easter tour in Aug, Sept. 2011, we saw this AIRSTREAM at the rally in Almonte, Ontario. There was a rally on the banks of the MISSISSIPPI RIVER on Labour Day Weekend.

I know, you will tell me its an Argosy, but read the name on the side.
By the way, there is an old thread on this subject here. It might be of help to trace a recent purchase?

Saw 2 Mohos yesterday among the mass migration south on I55 as I was headed NORTH .

A nice 340 with a dark blue PT cruiser toad about 15 miles north of I70.

A Cutter about 20 miles south of Springfield, IL.

We were at Crystal Cove Moro in Laguna Beach and met Andy & Jason (R2DTUBE) in their Bambi and shared dinner on Christmas eve. Also met a couple of new 'streamers in shiny new 2012 trailers (a 25' FB Flying Cloud and a 27' FB Sirenity). It almost turned into a rally!

Relocated to San Mateo CG in San Clemente this afternoon and met a couple in their new stock '69 rear bath 23' AS. Heard a rumor we may see some other Airstreams here before the New Year's weekend is over!

Caught a glimpse of an AS trailer parked in Huntington Beach SP campground as I was pulling out this morning. And, just briefly saw a 34' AS trailer with red stripes headed north on I-95 near Savannah mid-day.
