Paula,
Funny thing. This was the first time we'd seen an Airstream Motorhome in person. How interesting that it would be yours since SteSpot was the first vintage/remodeled Airstream we'd gotten to tour on our trip as well. Not to mention it was spotted by someone you'd actually met in person!

Just spotted a triple axle headed west on I40 near Kingston TN. Tow vehicle was red I think. We are headed home from a windy weekend in Crossville

Drove from Deming, NM to Bastrop, Tx. in the last couple of days, mostly on I10. Saw many SOB motorhomes and TTs, but only three AS the entire trip of 700 miles. I always wave and or flash the lights, and hopefully they won't think me daft.

Saw a 3 axle 34' Airstream trailer heading north out of Lexington on NC Highway 8 this afternoon, in the county where I live. I waved my hand, but I do not think you saw me. If you read this, are you a neighbor or just passing through?

Airstream Bonanza

Saw 2 parked at Ebeneezer County Park, near my home in York. One was a late model Bambi, W.Va plates, blue Ford p/u. The other was an International, SC plates, white Yukon(or similar). Saw a THIRD one south bound US hwy 321, just north of York. Late model trailer, older Chevy p/u. Passed right by my front door.
It's a big deal to see THAT many Streams, in one day, in our tiny little 'ole neck of the universe. An Airstream Bonanza for sure!!
Safe and happy travels to you all. John

Northbound I-5, shy of Red Bluff, CA just saw three 19-23' rigs within a few minutes. Only # seen was 4263. What a welcome shiny sight on an otherwise drab stretch of road. Bringing the long weekend's AS count to 7 (including 2 Bambi's that appeared to be lived in.)

Even the kids think AS sightings are so much more fun then "punch bug"!

Holy. Maca. Roni.

2,911 posts on "my" thread? Our progress has been delayed for so long...maybe this thread is my contribution to the The Airstream World?

We cleared out the garage, made an interior workspace for 'stream rehab, and made some wheel wells which need to be riveted, sealed, and POR-15'ed on the inside. Cleaning the garage was a HUGE move forward.

If anyone remembers me, shout out a "hey, Pink!" now I'm down with a cold...but I'm comin' out so you better get this party started. Things are good in Alameda, but I'm thinkin with this economy, working from the road might be in our future...I miss you all.

Hey, I'm so slow that I can't even bring myself to tell people on here that I am, and have been, and at the rate I'm going, probably always will be rebuilding my Tradewind . . . other "stuff" always gets in the way . . . haven't given up! And I'm glad you haven't either.

Saw an older 25' pass by my house Sunday. North bound S.C. 321/161, took the 161 split. White 4 door Tundra tv. Back bumper of the trailer had some sort of rack mounted there, painted yellow, with something tied down on it. They were really moving.

Saw a couple AS on the road today from Dilley, TX home to Houston, TX coming home from a hunting trip.

This is the only one I got a pic of. In Houston headed south on the west side of the beltway. Had a WBCCI# 1068 on it. TV was a suburban.
