The shine caught my eye.

I spotted this on a used car lot. It was trying to hide as I know Airstreams don't like to associate with riff-raff. It was in San Diego. I didn't get out of my car to check it out. It was a twin axle about 22-24'

Seaside, FL has and interesting food court right along FLA 30A. Not sure about the food, but the AS's are interesting!

clewis, boy, I'd sure get fat there! I better avoid that one; my truck has a limited payload. lol!

we were in Alaska last week seeing the sights in Anchorage, Seward and Denali. If you've never made the trip - we HIGHLY recommend it!

We flew in and rented a car - unfortunately coudn't take our AS.

But saw several on the roads, plus:

this one on a highway turnoff; drive by some nice folks from the Yukon Territories

We saw an Airstream with an ice cream cone on top of it between Lakeway and I-35, and then an ancient airstream parked by a garage in Temple, Texas on our way from Austin to DFW on Tuesday, but we were running late and didn't turn around to get photos.

We were also in Alaska last week, in a rented motorhome, and saw many more Airstreams than we expected, 5-7 total. We've been to Alaska numerous times, but this was our first trip since buying an Airstream, so we kept a lookout for them. Met 2 couples who had traveled from New York with 2 trailers, 1 was in an Airstream. Also saw ones in Anchorage, Palmer, and along the Glenn, Richardson and Sterling highways, and at a campground in Portage Valley.
We hope to take ours there next year.

That would be you--it was a 2007 20' Safari, in Willow campground. Hope you enjoyed the king salmon she caught!
So where are you now? More salmon on the Russian River? I recall you had a month or more still on your journey?
