No good gossip, the Bambi is going home to Cal. tomorrow. The Sovereign (Wally # 6307) and the Safari (with a big crease across two panels in the rear) just got in. I just noticed on the Safari they don't use the nice riveted window trim anymore, or the cool porch light, what a gyp!

Wow! Another A/S packed weekend. We saw two that were north bound on I-20 between Ardmore & OKC. One of which was being hauled by a Class B (isn't that what a van conversion is?)

Then we saw two more parked in downtown Ardmore. We think these might have been for sale (no signs but a guy was having a sidewalk sale 20 ft away). As we could tell no one was using them we peaked inside. They looked as if they were in various states of remodel. One had a residential fridge in it.

Another A/S on the move

This beauty was on the move in Alexandria, La. Really a traffic stopper.

I think I can read "Streamline" on the back rear centre, as seen in the first shot. So, I'm guessing it's an, uh, Streamline!

FWIW: the black scuff marks on the first and second shots of the TT are what happens when a TT is tarped over a period of time...

I think "Streamline" is the winner.

Here's another, the unusual cyclops top marker (or trio of large rear markers, if you prefer) is distinctive.

The wife saw what she guesses was about a 1990 Airstream Motorhome today that had the tapestry red stripe, going north on Boulder Highway near the 93/95 freeway here in Las Vegas about 3:45 p/m.

If you look you will see them...

Went to Poughkeepsie NY last weekend to see family. Mom wanted to show off their new attraction "Walk across the Hudson". Beautiful fall day. A man with a vision bought an old (100yrs) RR bridge that had burned in 1974. He had a concrete walkway made and installed over old bridge and then donated it to the state of NY. The finished work is a 1.5 mi level walkway across the Hudson river which is at least 200' above the river. As we were taking our walk I peered over the edge to look down on the city below ans there it was peeking out from behind a house. A 1960's Airstream. You just never know where you will see them. If you are in the area this is a must see! I will try and attach pic's.

Saw this old Lady a couple of weeks ago in woodland just off the A66 near Keswick, Cumbria in Northern England. What a shame.

I'll keep my eye on it whenever I'm in the area just to see if she gets restored.

Looks like a late '70s mid-bath 31-footer (Excella). From your photos, it doesn't look to be in bad shape, either...

Saw a 27ft newer model A/S headed northbound on I-75 pulled by a white SUV. There weren't any numbers on it that we could see.

We saw another one parked in campground somewhere near Ocala, FL. It was visible from the freeway.

Around lunch time today, spotted a newer 25-27 footer behind the truck stop on I-10 at exit 53 in Alabama. TV was a late model burgundy Dodge pickup. Rig was parked WAY out back to keep away from the truck traffic. It was easy to spot all that gleaming aluminum in the middle of a mostly empty lot.
