Last Thursday about noonish, we spotted an AS headed South on I-95 in Virginia as we were pulling ours North.

I saw an Airstream on I-59 just south of Livingston, Texas on Saturday. Looked like around late 60's early 70's Land yacht. Not polished but clean and the driver was going 70 mph.

WOW! All of a sudden we began spotting Airstreams of all vintages out here in the West. Between NW NE. and WY we saw several, all heading SW we assume from the Tetons and Yellowstone. Now we're wondering how many we've missed. Most wave, just like Corvette drivers do to each other, so that's fun. We hope to see more camped in the parks and up in Montanna. Woohoo, this is fun and especially the cool weather.

Airstream moho towing another Airstream

A couple of weeks back, I saw a classic Airstream motorhome driving east on I-20, just west of Ft. Worth. It was towing an Airstream trailer! The trailer was a small one, maybe a Bambi. I was driving westbound, and didn't have a chance to grab a camera. Would have been a neat picture.

Don't know who this is, but they have a really cool rig.

Tonight in Cheyenne, WY, we spotted 2 29'(?) excellas - #7158 from FL and 3659 from TX - at AB Camping.

At Elk Meadows in Estes park, CO, there were 3 'streams parked along the west side of the campground over the weekend - 1 older and 2 newer (one had 2 std poodles).

And in Estes Park, we found a nicely buffed out' older 17'(?) with CO tag 483-BEA in 1 of the town's parking lots.

And on Aug 7, we spotted a 'Stream headed south out of Central City, CO.

A Record, 3 streams in 1 day!

Glimpsed #1, a late 28-30 mod headed east on I-80 in central NE.
#2, A 19 ft vintage, headed east on I-80 in Central NE.
#3, A large 1980'ish MoHo headed east I-80 in western NE.

Nebraska is big?

Early '60s single axle heading east at New Market Maryland on I 70. Pulled by a Ford Super Duty with (I think) a couple of bikes in the back. Bet he was heading to the beach, same place we will be heading to tomorrow (hey look for us on 70, 32, 50, 404 as we head to Indian River). BTW this guy was rolling out!

South of Bishop, CA around Lone Pine heading north

On Sunday 8/8/10 afternoon we spotted 3 Airstreams going north on 395....all vintage and one was small like a Bambi, one was medium in size and the third was long with a big box on the top in addition to what looked like an air conditioner......we were headed south and I was driving so I just got a quick glance at each...they were traveling separately.......paula

While camping at San Elijo State Beach, just north of San Diego I saw a couple of 60's era Airstreams. The first one was about 18' and built in Jackson Center. The second was being used at the Surfing school and was a tandem axle and was built in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Two!

We saw two today all within 3 hours.

We spotted a polished 70's International model (it looked like a 31 footer) with a red, white and blue beltline, stopped along 280S, just north of the Highway 92 junction.

We spotted a 2000's model, looked like it was about 27 feetl, towed by an SUV with a surfboard on its roof rack heading south on 580 in San Leandro.

Nice to see others out and about and pulling their 'Streams.

We have one camped two doors down in Grand Teton NP. More escapees from the Texas heat and are we all ever enjoying it! It's nice to find BAUXITE up in the NPs this Summer. We hope to find more in Yellowstone over the weekend.

We spotted a green Argosy leaving Disney World this morning as we were returning. We missed the tow vehicle completely, paying too much attention to the roads and signs and not enough attention watching for Airstreams...

While towing ours to the beach today, we saw a newer 28+/- footer, maybe a classic, heading west near Frederick, MD. Nothing but SOBs here at Indian River in DE.
