Wouldn`t you have thought the campground would have moved that trailer to higher ground ? I consider that a total lack of give a sh^^ on their part. Dave

Maybe the host fled before the water got too high and couldn't make it back in time to save every trailer.

I haven't been around enough flood zones to know. You'd think a property owner would be aware of where the low spots are... but then again there's always flash floods, I guess.

Hopefully insurance will take care of it, but I bet that even if the water didn't go above the floor in that trailer, the water still would wick halfway up the walls through the insulation.

KOA Nashville is supposed to have one of those rental Airstreams, so we can hope that's the one that flooded.

Either way, I read that this area suffered a lot of very serious flooding over the weekend. Unprecedented scale. They had to evacuate the Opryland Hotel, which is just down the street.

Airstream Converted To Restaurant Dining

Janet and I went over to Revo Burrito in Phoenix for lunch yesterday and found this jewel that has been transformed into a mobile dining area. It was set up in their parking lot for their grand opening celebration (so I don't expect it to be there all the time). The photos don't do it justice. There are tables at both ends, and in the middle there are stools and counters to eat on. There are two LCD TV's mounted on the sides in the middle, and a couple of refrigerators down below for drinks, along with a sink in the counter on one side.

Nice looking trailer. I doubt it will be on site in the summer months.

Did anybody else notice the newish Airstream in the Weber Grill commercials? I think this post belongs in another thread, but I can't remember the name of that thread right now.

On Saturday, we were heading through Baraboo, WI to Devil's Lake State Park with Oscar (the Sovereign). We met a Ford vehicle towing a shiny 7-panel AS, IL plates. We waved, but they didn't see us. Didn't see an AirForums sticker or anything, but maybe they're on here???

Aircooled, we were at Devils Lake Friday and Saturday, we drive a black Chev Trailblazer and had RareAir (our 66' Tradewind). Was it us you saw?

It probably was!! I wasn't looking too closely as I was driving and concentrating on the turn coming up, but I definitely saw the "shiny dome" over top of the vehicle I thought it was a Ford TV at first glance; sorry about that! Jay was watching the AS as it went by and he guessed a 26'. He was close!! Very cool.

That is a 1964 26' Overlander. The most telling clues are that it has 5 panel endcaps and a door-within-a-door, a combination unique to 1964, but the trailer has several other other details that confirm it is a 1964. It looks nice from the outside, but it appears that the upper access door behind the fridge is missing (this is the dark rectangle just rearward of the entry door). I hope that have it or otherwise cover the hole to keep the weather and critters out.

Yes. And right after, I saw "A Perfect World" with Clint Eastwood and Kevin Costner. They used an Airstream for a mobile command office in the movie.
