Geez, someone did a rather tacky job removing the Wally numbers.
What do the stars stand for?

No picture as we were east bound on I 40 to Amarillo...cute little older "Bambi type" with kyack on top of TV. ln addition, as one travels east bound just before Amarillo, there is a storage area with a older, maybe 1968, in the storage.
Snow bird season is starting. Saw lots of "those other kind" going west as we drove from Tucumcari to Amarillo.

Sorry. That was my tacky job. I smudged the numbers in Photoshop. I usually blur out id numbers, license plate numbers, etc. Old habit because I am over paranoid. Don't want to be responsible for announcing someone's house is empty because they're out camping.

I've been spotting this fella for the last few years...on the side of hwy 49, north of Hattiesburg.
Been forsale as long as it's been there. I dunno the length, single rear axle, Diesel written on the windshield.

Windowless heavy duty Airstream at JC
Saw this in the yard at JC last week. Tour guide didn't know who it was for but it was very heavy duty. Rear bumper was much heaver, tanks underneath look very solid, tongue was much longer and had black diamond plate and a pintle hitch.
Timeless perhaps? Airstream One?

No belly pan on that special model. I sure am curious, like a kitty at a closed door. "Got to get that thing open."

Maybe they are going to add some large railway wheels on it. Now that would be a sight to see traveling behind an engine.

We were hoping to show up on the sightings page. A truck towing an old jeep on a trailer passed us twice and the passenger was snapping pictures like crazy....

Given that it has the cheapest wheels I've seen on an Airstream, I presume it is going to be completely modified.

When I was working we hand several trailers like this that were very basic on the outside. The interior was equipped with instruments/testing equipment. No windows due to the need to have low light for monitors. I will bet there is a port somewhere to allow feeds. They would be pulled on site then placed for a stay until all work was completed. A $20,000 trailer with $100,000+ in equipment inside.
