I'd say it's a 1959 to 1961 22'er. The wheel well shape on this trailer was used for just those three years and the length is correct for a 22 footer. It could be a Flying Cloud, Safari, or one of the rarer models (Caravanner, Falcon, etc.). The window configuration does not quite fit with anything I am familiar with, so it's hard to be more definite.

Saw WBCCI# 4433 (red tow vehicle, I think) heading south on I-75 in Atlanta around 6:45 PM today.

Spotted WBCCI #12641 driving eastbound on the Ohio Turnpike near Vermillion, OH yesterday, and later saw a longer 30+ footer, with a pair of kayaks on the tow vehicle's roof at Dan's Service Center in Elkhart, Indiana.

Say, it just occurred to me that this thread may one day accidentally "out" someone having a rendezvous with their mistress! Or worse, an entire second, secret family.

For what it's worth, I was with my wife and two dogs.

Never hurts to ask. I bought a great deal from behind a local barn. It had been sitting for 12 years and they were happy to see it moved.

Methow Valley Sightings

Wow, we've been in Washington state since Saturday and we've seen a number of Airstreams. Both on the move and planted. Seems this is a hotbed of AS activity.

Heck we even saw a vintage GMC Birkdale moho today in Winthrop.

This is turning into a great vacation .... even if Airstream One is in SC awaiting our return.

No Airstream but an AirForums member was spotted driving a Black Chevy or GMC van while we were travelling through Tucson last Friday morning the 4th of Sept.

Heading home with our Airstream today, traveling South on Hwy 1. Spotted another Airstream in the parking lot of Santa Monica Beach. I was too slow, but my daughter says they were waving at us. Sorry I missed the wave back if you're out there!

Curecanti National Recreation Area

This was parked at the Cimarron Visitor Center.
Nobody was in it and we went on a hike to the Morrow Dam.
I saw you visited the Dam also, but couldn't find you.

Anyway, it was a Wally Byam Caravan'ing AS and I think it was a '52.

Wish we could've met!

Seen A/S heading North on HWY 75, between Dewey, OK and Copan, OK. They flashed their lights and we waved. We were pulling our A/S back from Kansas heading to Oklahoma City, OK. Had a flat in OKC on a tires less than two years old. Go figure!

Mconaughey keeps his Airstream at the Malibu RV park, I think. Not too far north of Santa Monica, if memory serves. Ah, the beach lifestyle.
