Saw five in the south bound side of I-75 in Florida this past Saturday. They were not traveling together and miles apart. Also saw one in a camp ground next to I-75 near Unadilla, GA.

Quick trip to DC. Down Tuesday, back Wednesday. The travel trailer and RV count was: 17 SOB's, 9 5th Wheels, 20 Class A's, 17 Class C's, 7 Pop ups and ONE Airstream. It was spotted Tuesday, westbound on the Pennsylvania Turnpike at mile post 116. It was a Blue Stripe (28 - 30 ft) probably 80's vintage, with a white TV. The rig looked good, but was past me quickly. I attempted a wave, but I'm sure it went un-noticed.

Glad I spotted at least one AS. Thanks,

Roy

Two today. One south bound on I 71 just north of Columbus - unit 5211. One at Seville Ohio - a 26 or 28 foot Argosy being pulled with an F350 dually.

8-4-09 A/S (don't know years-sizes-models, but know an A/S). About 4:15 pm on Burnside road, Gresham OR, Washington plate, believe it was 9004(or06)-TZ.
trip to Ca last month we saw 3 on the road, none in the campgrounds we stayed in.
Last weekend saw a A/S parked by a home in Central Or, around Madras. See lots of SOB and Huge motorhomes.

Drove from Pittsburgh to Atlanta Friday and did a count of RVs: 43 - Class A's, 23 - Class C's, 33 - SOB's, 17 - 5th Wheels, 6 - Popups, 2 - Truck Campers (and two more mounted to utility trailers - the original "Toy Hauler" - you guess which state), 1 - HiLo and... ONE Airstream. Spotted in Virginia on I-77 Northbound at the 27 Milpost. No WBCCI number. It was a blue stripe with a vista view front window, probably 28 ft. We're guessing early 90's. Forgot to check out the TV.

From Atlanta to Melbourne Beach on Saturday: 61 Class A's, 34 - Class C's, 34 - SOB's, 25 - 5th Wheels, 9 - Popups, 2 - Truck Campers, and TWO Airstreams - both in Florida. First one southbound on I75 at the 395 milepost. WBCCI number (a bit faded) 12436. We're guessing vintage 70's, 30 ft International with blue lettering on the street side ("FLORIDA"). It was towed by a red Dodge. After a rest stop by us, we saw it again, north bound at the 350 milepost. The second one was on the Florida Turnpike, north bound at the 294 milepost. It had a Blue TV, but couldn't get the WBCCI number.

That's what we saw moving the last 1200 miles or so. Happy travels,

Marie and Roy

Way down south...

Here's an old ARGOSY that I saw in the destroyed Lower 9th Ward in Nawlins last January:

Incidentally, no one has ever sated my curiosity about the 7 Airstreams I saw parked in the middle of downtown Clarksdale, Mississippi at the same time.

See post # 1689 above. Still hoping for information......

All the best,

Sergei

We spotted 5 northbound A/S this afternoon. Just before 4PM PDT on I-5 south of the I-205/I-5 interchange near Portland, OR, we saw 3 A/S, 1 was a 27' with a blue stripe, and another was an older 23'(?) as it had 5 panels over the front window. Then about 4:30PM after we pulled out of the discount mall at Woodburn, another 25'er. And last was a 2009 19' A/S pulled by a white SUV. 5 'Streams - gotta love it!

Tomorrow, we take "le petit palais" to the ocean for a week of biking and kayaking, and hooking up with long-time friends.

We are in Pine Grove Coconinno National Forest Campground about 16 miles SE of Flagstaff, AZ... When we got here Wednesday, there were 2 other Airstreams... a newer 27' or 28'...and a 1999 (?) 25' Classic...the 28' left the next morning and we never got to talk to them...but we did chat with the Classic owners...they are from Phx...nice couple...he said he has researched the forums, but has never joined...hope he does! The ranger drove by our site this afternoon, waved, and quipped, "That's a cute Airstream!" We waved and agreed. We love being in the Airstream family!

not sure this is the right place to post.....but here it is.
saw this little one sitting at an RV dealership here in NH last week. couldnt get any pics of the inside, but it looked to be in decent shape. the only obvious damage was the wrinkle in the lower curb side front corner.

Looks like WBCI # 30190. If anyone has an interest, send me a PM. I would be happy to stop there again and get more information on this AS.

Wife spotted it.

Hi, today my wife said she spotted a large Airstream in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Long Beach. I had to go there for a few things and while I was there I met John and his six well mannered children. John also gave me a tour of his 2005 Safari 30' bunkhouse trailer. John and his family are from New Hampshire and have been doing a lot of traveling. It was nice to meet you.

They are ruining Walmart parking for the rest of us by unhooking their trailer and putting the stabilizers down in the Walmart parking lot. That is very poor ettiquette for a "free camper". I hope you pointed that out.
