I saw that! There is also one in the background of a video game commercial (something with Snoop Dog and a boxing ring) but in the backdrop of the "trailer park" there is an Airstream. They are showing up in a lot of commercials- there is some music or phone commercial with a vintage one in it also.

The Coors Light NFL Bowl ticket Airstream motor home is parked in front of Sam's Club in Joplin, today. Sorry, no pictures, we didn't have the camera with us (again, sigh).

I was traveling south on Hwy 55 from Springfield, IL to St. Louis when I saw what I believe was an excella being towed by a large red truck with huge camper shell.

We took The Silver Schooner to Salisbury Beach State Reservation at the Mouth of the Merrimack River in Mass. this weekend. There were two other A/S in the campground - a very nice excella - 16 years old - I had a tour - lovely and the owners were very nice too. Didn't get a chance to catch up with the other one - it was recent and maybe a 25' or smaller.

Batter Blaster!

So, here I am four years after *ahem* starting this thread thank you, thank you, and I'm driving along my little town where my daughter and I first started the Airscream Game. The rules have been buried in this thread of *ahem* over 1500 posts, thank you, thank you...the rules are simple, you see an Airstream of any kind and scream, try not to wreck, take a picture if you can, post here.

Suddenly my daughter screams, "MOMMY!!!!!" which of course means I have to slam on the brakes and look into the back seat because she's about to die, but no, she's pointing back over me at my side of the street with her mouth in a big "O" shape. My 13 y.o. and I look over and see the picture in the attached link and quietly go, "whoooooa".

Batter Blaster Airstream on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I'm sure i'm not the first to see it but Airstreams in my town are pretty rare and I had just read an article about this guy starting his own business with some squirtable pancake batter stuff. His tow vehicle was decorated too.

It's a headturner for sure, but I'm always a little sad to see aluminum painted over with anything. Still, quite screamworthy.

And I just have to say how proud I am of this thread, especially since I have yet to finish our trailer!

Thumbs up

We rarely see another AS at the Dog Shows we attend but at our National Speciality two weeks ago, guess what?.....

The "Banana" is the one with the flagpole.

Hey, thanks for thinking of the thread, Ingrid! Loads of fun.

I think that the pancake AS has a thin plastic film over it and not paint. Up here, they do a lot of the downtown busses like that, and it sure looks like a peelable film when you see it up close.

Where is your thread about the re-do of your trailer, BTW?

cheers,
Aage

I saw a 31ft 1980's (I think) heading North on I-75 about 40 miles south of Mackinaw City.

Not an Airstream, but interesting

Caught this model "Silver Streak" Continental at Persimmon Hill campground, Lake Enid, MS. We just thought it was interesting. Never did catch the owners around. Maybe next time.

I was headed north of the toll on I 95 in NH about 5 tonight and saw a recent A/S which might have been a 23' or smalle,r headed south, towed by a pickup which might have been green. It's hard to get any details going in the opposite direction at 65mph.
