Airstream MSRP?

Does anyone know where there is a source for the Retail (msrp) prices for new airstreams? I would kinda like to know how much a dealer is discounting when I get a quote.

Thanks...

Smile One Source of MSRP

There is at least one source that is fairly reputable. That is the RV Consumer Group 'Green Book--RV Ratings" for 2003. They show selected Airstream models with suggested MSRPs. These figures were derived from their research, but always seem pretty accurate to me.

For instance, here are a few of the quotes from pages 123-125 of this year’s edition:

A/S Classic, Classic 25' $51,707
A/S Bambi, Bambi 19' $29,547
A/S Classic, Classic 31' $60,149
A/S International, 22' $39,044
AS Safari, Safari 25'A $36,934

etc.

You can get this guide by going to www.rv.org. It is not the only source, just one. fyi

Carl,

Any update on your Safari? Have you pulled her yet with that new Hemi?

Smile Thanks for asking

John

Good to hear from you. Thanks for asking about our new-to-us Safari. We have not pulled it with the new hemi yet, just the Expedition.

When we returned from Austin after we picked her up, I took her down to Spring Cypress RV to have a systems check, install some stablizers, water filter, etc. They still have it. I took it to them just three days before the big RV show here in Houston, so they were jumping.

It should be ready sometime this week and I will have a chance to use the Dodge. One issue, though, is that the Dodge RAM 2500, is 'higher' than the Expedition, so I will have to drop the equalizer hitch down a little so I can keep the trailer level. That is my project for this week.

Take Care,

Carl Jackson

You can usually find the MSRP off of Airstream Central Web site. (www.airstreamcentral.com) There is a link there to Paul Sherry RV and he posts the MSRP for most Airstreams

A couple of years ago I called Airstream and asked for a price list and they mailed it to me. I'm not sure if that still works but it might be worth a try.
