Talking Airstream Motorhome Cake

I just wanted to share a unique Airstream Experience that you might find interesting. On 28 August 2004, I exchanged wedding vows with one of the sweetest gals this side of the Appalachians. At the reception, she surprised me with the Groom's cake below, a replica of my 1979 24' Excella Motorhome.

Delightful. . .and the rest of the story? Did you take your honeymoon trip traveling in the Excella? What a story to retell years from now! No, you don't have to answer. Just couldn't resist!

Talking Honeymooners

Max and Georgia:

Well you were on target! Instead of flying away somewhere exotic, we spent our honeymoon touring the Southern Appalachian Mountains with our 12 year old Chihuahua, Chi-Chi, in our Airstream. It was relaxing and fun!

What a CUTE idea!

But did it ever occur to you that she might have had ulterior motives.. such as gaining co-ownership of your Excella?

I wish you two many happy years together.... take many wonderful trips.

Hey Leemo,
Congrats!!!! It sounds like she loves you bigtime. I liked the picture of the mandolin cake more than the picture of the excella cake tho.

Congrats LeeMo!!! My wife and I were married on the same day down in Florida. The grooms cake was not that cool though.
