I received my first issues yesterday! This magazine surpasses any expectation I had. The message about "Vintage Thunder" has me interested see how the restoration of the 1977 Argosy progresses. The "Airstream Restorers" is well done and what about the bath tub in "Fly Rig"! I am in the middle of "Montana's Crow Country" and can't wait to find out how to: "Party with a Theme".

This is a great addition to my coffee table!

Well John Baker just "outed" me. The caption on page 26 says the 1961 Globetrotter in the picture is also pictured on page 22 and 27. Actually, it's on pages 22 and 28. In other words, the Fly Rig *doesn't* have the fancy bathtub, it's the 1961 Globetrotter that does. Oooops. Sorry-- there's always a couple of those things in every issue!

We recieved ours the other day I thought it was great. It really illustrates that we are involved in a lifestyle.

Is this mag available on any newstand anywhere? If not why?

Is there a way to buy one copy (in plastic) from the publisher?

Is the debut issue available thru the Airstream factory store? Ought to be?

If one subscribes will this debut issue still be sent? For how long?

Am I correct that this is a quarterly? That would be which months each year?

I sure hope this endeavor flies. Narrow scope mags have a very tough hill to climb. I predict that in time the mag may have to broaden to all the silver trailers to expand the interest as well as the article material available.

I chatted with Rich about this very thing yesterday. I thought I was one of the first to subscribe and as it turns out my order didn't go through. Contact Rich through the "Contact Us" link on www.airstreamlife.com. He'll make it right. As I understand, there are some of the inaugural issues still available.

Hi all

If you subscribed prior to June 15, you should have received your first issue by now. If not, use the "Contact Us" link at www.airstreamlife.com to notify us and we'll rush out a replacement copy. A few people who subscribed early in March got lost due to website problems, like flyfshr. I do apologize for that. As he noted, let us know and we'll make it right.

If you subscribed AFTER June 15, keep in mind that we batch up new orders and ship them monthly. The last batch was shipped July 21, which included people like kmtyme and coastalview. They will get their issues 1-2 weeks after the July 21 ship date.

In general, please allow 2-3 weeks from the date you place your order to receive your first issue -- as it says on the "Thank You" page when you subscribe. We are now sending issues to new subscribers every week, using first-class mail (instead of bulk mail) to speed up the process. Note that 2-3 weeks is WAY faster than almost any other print publication out there!

Remember, if you want the Summer 2004 issue, you must subscribe prior to September 15. After that we will start new subscribers with the Fall 2004 issue.

Thanks, everyone, for your support!
