Airstream lots for sale on the West Coast?

There is a thread looking for Airstream compatible lots for sale on the East Coast. I would be interested in knowing what is available on the West Coast.

By the way for anyone interested I do know of one that is just a bit north of Portland, Oregon where we live. This place is probably too close for us but does have lots that sell starting as low as $5k (when we visited last year). The complex adjoins Lake Merwin and has its own private boating doc, a resturant and etc. We have visited the complex and it seemed pretty nice depending on what you are looking for. Most of the sites tend to be pretty wooded and shady. They have full hookups at each site and the sites are roomy. Check out the following web site if you are interested:

What else is out there?

Thanks,

Malcolm

Thanks for the link...

Porky,

It looks like these lots are essentially moble home lots that are owned exclusively by AS owners. Do any of them have only an AS on them or do people typically live there, park their AS and then go in and out from there with their AS on trips?

The park started out as a place to park your AS and stay for extended periods. But after some time, folks started to bring in mbile and manufactured homes.

I would say that all of the lots have some type of structure on them. I saw one today that looked like it was just a garage with a place to park ... the only one I have seen like this.

Most of the folks here are fulltime residents.

Hey Porky! How's it going with your trip?

Malcolm,

I've done a lot of Internet searching on this subject. I was looking for more a campground type park rather than a luxury motorcoach type park. So scratch the Outdoor Resorts park in Newport, OR. Some parks that looked possible:

Latitude 49 RV Resort near Bellingham, WA. Here is a lot that just sold there. http://www.rvonline.com/campgrounds/081ct001.html
Park also has website.

Coastal Marina RV Park near Florence OR. I drove past this small park but couldn't see much. It is right on the river with nice views. Here is a lot for sale. http://www.rvonline.com/campgrounds/cg208.html

Safari Campground, Ilwaco WA. Nice area. http://www.safaricampground.com/index.htm

Skookum Rendezvous RV Park, Newport (Spokane) WA. I really liked the location of this park and was serious about it but in the end, not campgroundish enough for me and good sites taken. It is on the beautiful Pend Oreille River. http://www.skookum-rendezvous.com/

That's the best of what I could find. I did not know about Lake Merwin Campers Hideway. The website doenst seem to be working. I would like to see pics of the park. How much?

Pretty spot in Florence...

I will look over the pointers you gave. The first one I looked at in Florence seems to be in a nice location.

The Lake Merwin site seems to be working for me now. Give it a try again. They do have some pictures on the website.

Thanks,

Malcolm
