That's true, they are. But the alter ego "Dr. C" is a bit like Mr Hyde -- as you can tell from his column!

Just received ours in yesterday's mail. We were pleasantly surprised to see a few of our friends featured in the article entitled "The Next Generation..."

Only two issues off the presses and this one is getting better all the time! Keep it coming, Rich!

I am enjoying the latest issue of Airstream Life.I got a kick out of the mention of "gumption blocks" in article of vintage argosy.That seems to be where I am at with my project and the weather.Now I will have to read Pirsig's book again.

We just received our Airstream Life today. I've been browsing over it and noticed what might be an Airstream prototype on the Reese ad on the back cover. It has a streetside door! Or is this the work of Bredlo?

I believe this is a "prototype" courtesy of Photoshop. But I am sure Reese will be pleased to know that people are looking at their ad so closely!

For those who are new to the forum Rich, here is the thread that started it all. I fell for it hook line and sinker.

If, like Airstreamhobo, you're wondering where your copy is, please be patient a bit longer. The US Postal Service doesn't guarantee delivery time for "Periodicals Rate" publications, and so it can vary by as much as three weeks from one part of the country to another.

And there's no rhyme or reason to it. For example, 53FlyingCloud in NH got his last week, but I (the publisher) haven't gotten mine in VT, nor has anyone else in VT that I've spoken to.

This is a problem for all Periodicals Rate publications, but you probably notice it more acutely for Airstream Life because you know (from the Internet) that other people have already gotten it. Trust me, it's not because we don't like you!

If anyone hasn't received their copy by Oct 28, send us a note with your current address via the Contact Us form on the Airstream Life website. We will be sending reports to the Post Office of delivery problems, and they promise to investigate. (In the meantime, I can get you another copy via First Class mail.)

Thanks for your support!

Is anyone else having an arduous time of it viewing the members gallery? Dr. C and the Mrs. have a fine looking summer home. Looks like everyone had a great time up in Mackanac.

Overseas mail is OK

Hi the community and Airstreamlife readers;

I've gotten the fall issue last week ( thank you Rich ) and made my subscription at this date too. 3 days later, I received the summer issue as I asked on my order.
Great efficiency for overseas mail !

For those who wanted a larger size for the "airstreaming in Europe " picture (fall issue); here is it.

Bruno.
