I had not anticipated a response of any kind, nor am I particularly disappointed I didn't get one. If one-way feedback is all they need then that works for me. If the suggestions I offered are given consideration that's great.

As a group we do have high expectations of pretty much everything - this is not a bad thing - it's an interesting group. Deep thinkers, many extremely passionate about their Airstream lust, and looking for ways to help the mother ship make our lives even better. It would be interesting if Airstream were to create a council of Forums members who could provide on-going feedback, both ways. I'm sure more than a few on this Forum would be willing to participate.

I didn't receive a reply and I gave them what I thought were some good suggestions. They've made changes to most all models except the 34. I think it could do for an updated floor plan , The one I don't get was who thought the stove next to the credenza ( where you might have your TV) or in the L shaped lounge , next to a leather sofa was a good idea? I may be wrong though. How many of you have your stove inches from your couch at home? That was only one suggestion. I guess they didn't like any of them.

I filled it out several days ago..Had me wondering if maybe a moderator got it before it got to them..lmao, Noooo, I don't expect to hear from them...I did offer a few pointed suggestions which, may not have set well at the Corp level. 1. Use a better tech for the flooring material. 2. Replace whatever water base paint they are using on the frame with something that doesn't allow rust~!! ciao, 53FC

Like Royce, I declined the salary question, and like 62Overlander I suspect they aren't so interested in what a devoted Airstream owner with a 47 year old trailer has to say. And what's up with that "where would you expect to find Airstream-licensed merchandise" question?

If they only knew I might be a "millionaire" (one day??? ) and that I do plan on purchasing a new coach in the future (maybe not the super near immediate future) . . . . however, with the quality issues some of you have with recent models maybe I'll stick with vintage.

Kevin,

I live in Orange, the next city over and did not receive an invitation. Can I carp?

If that's what it takes to get an invite to a meeting - I'll pass. Actually, I was happy to even see them ask for our opinions.

I don't like meetings.
I have to go to enough already.
But I'd be happy to share your flask Goin.

You know what.............? I just figured it out............I had my white tux on but had spaghetti for dinner. Opps.............get the picture. I'll put in a photo deal on my laptop and do away with the stain. How very thoughtless of me. I also had some ashes from the camp fire in my pants just below the cumberbund. Guess I'm just a slob that loves his Airstream. Notice I still capitalize Airstream............................?

No. Possibly because I was honest in my response to the survey.

I didn't think the survey was too obnoxious...typical marking stuff, really...they just want to know more if "we" are happy with htier product and more about the demographics of Airsteamers...and the old way to know that is to ask.

They delivered a new 34 classic to my home this morning. They said I won it as the first responder to the survey.

I don't know what to do with it as I already have one.

Any Suggestions?

So far, I have filled out the survey twice (on two of my four computers), and still haven't been selected to participate further, or even heard from back from them. I did one survey from the perspective of an owner of a 2005 Airstream, and the second as the owner of my vintage 1968 Tradewind. Maybe it was the part where I told them that, because of several quality control issues, I advised my children (who love both my Airstreams) to NEVER consider the purchase a new Airstream, instead I would help them look for a nice used one. Or maybe it was because I was wearing my trusty Timex and WBCCI blue beret at the time I completed the surveys.

Any suggestion as to what to wear or say when I do the next two surveys?

I would keep that trusty Timex fer sure. As to what to wear, I would say, Don't do what I did....."I filled my survey out while in my pajamas.."
