Airstream in NC?

We will soon be moving to Greenville, NC from Dallas and are wondering if there are any good Airstream repair places around in case we need to take Thirsty in for some help or adjustments. Also, while out there visiting, we saw very few RV's in general, and absolutely no Airstreams. Is this the case or are they just all hidden behind the big trees?

We keep them hidden in all the trees around here! Contact Wahoonc on the forum, he's a Moderator here and lives in NC. He has a couple of places that he likes in the area. Sorry, I can't remember the names of dealerships right now.

Welcome to the area, hope to see you around the southeast camping. There are lots of great places to camp in the mountains near Greenville. It's a lot different that Texas!

Carolina Airstream Dealership

On our way to Fla. in Jan., we stopped at Don Mar Airstream in South Carolina right off Rte. 95. They were pleasant, competent and prompt.

Sometime this summer

We are moving some time this summer, not exactly sure when. We had planned on getting our trailer polished within the next few weeks, but it looks like we are going to be needing to live in it for a month or so, which makes us extremely dissappointed. We had been so looking forward to a beautiful shine.

Thanks for the info on Out-of-doors mart. Also, njoy, I will email you about that individual.

Does anyone around Greenville polish airstreams?

Thanks for the info.

Bill

Out of Doors mart in Kernersville, NC 336-993-4518 Howard is the best!
They are between Greensboro and Winston-Salem. I drove there from Northern VA to buy my trailer. Very knowledgeable and competent. I bypassed Safford in VA. Not very knowledgeable about Airstreams.
