Airstream Homecoming?

Having received a postal last week re Airstream Homecoming, was wondering if any of you have gotten that notice. ?

Didn't want the question in the same paragraph, but what do they do with the sewage problem....how do they handle grey water? We don't have so much a prob with the black, but do fill up our grey daily......too many showers, I guess.

Gray water is dumped on the grass under the trailer; you need to arrive with a sewer cap with the garden hose attachment and a short piece of garden hose.

When you check in, you get a colored flag. There are several scheduled pumpouts during the week and you just stick the flag in the ground behind the trailer when you want pumped out. You get one pumpout for free which should be more than enough since it is just black water.

We recieved ours too. At $250 and with a trailer that is no where near ready for the road, I do not think we will make it. Though I would like to come out for a plant tour.

This year's Homecoming

I really enjoyed my week there and I intend to go back in 2006. In 2005, we have other long trips planned.

Jackson Center is just a couple of hours from my wife's sisters in Michigan, so that it can be a two destination trip.

Hey, anyone know if another Homecoming is planned? I heard it was going to happen every year, then every other year and now it seems to maybe have fallen to the sidelines? Anyone got any skinny on the next Airstream Homecoming?

Yea, I thought it better to pull one from the parts bin rather than start another new thread since it was along the lines of the same subject.

I have been hoping for a repeat of the Homecoming. It is at a good time of year and only a couple of hours from my wife's sisters in lower Michigan. I would probably attend another Homecoming over going to Billings for the International next year.
