Okay, here's a couple of gift idea sites for us aluminum obsessed folks:
Muji Online This is a UK based company but I have ordered from them online. Their selection is great, prices reasonable & quality is unmatched.
The Museum of Useful Things I have ordered from this site as well...fun stuff!
And here's an aluminum chair for the kicked-back Airstreamer: Eddie Bauer Chair
Enjoy!

Cool Christmas Idea for the Musicians Out There!
Surfing the web last night and found this! Thought it might appeal to all the guitar players out there (including my hubby). Then I found the price...over $1,000! Oh well, I guess it's worth it if it has the Airstream name on it!

How about a gift that you make?
I turned a 12" Pecan platter on my woodlathe -- then took a photo of our friends Air Stream ----- I then used my woodburner to burn the picture of their trailer on the plate. Looks nice.
You say you don't do woodturning? Don't do woodburning? How about taking a picture (yes, take a picture) then mount it on an item you can purchase at a local Hobby store - like a wooden box for 'stuff' --- picture can be attached to the lid. There are hundreds of items that a photo can be attached to that would make it custom made. How about a coffe mug? or a Tee-shirt? I've done that in the past -- just provide the photo and the company will put it on the mug or tee-shirt for you.
Clear glass ornament that you can slide a photo into .. ..
I'm sure there are a multitude of custom things that can be made by even someone that is all thumbs I've just used one idea: a photo and some ways to present it.
my $.02 for the week.

Probably sounds ok, these kind of pickups are active, they work in almost anything.

Hey Airstream musical types, ( and those that are not) you have to take a look at this website. www.epiphone.com I could not beleive my eyes. An Airstream guitar. I have not read the story yet but it should be interesting.

Airstream Guitar
They played here in Chattanooga several years ago. They are not a bad band! Interesting, but not bad!

It is true Epiphone does produce the guitar and you can buy it. My wife found it for me (I have a collection of guitars) but we ended up buying an Airsteam instead!
