Airstream concession wagon in Frankfurt

I attended the world's largest chemical processing exhibition (ACHEMA) in Frankfurt, Germany few weeks ago.

I found this Overlander Land Yacht (not an International) in an inner courtyard selling food and drinks.

My A/S is 1971 27-foot Overlander International, and I'm guessing this one is a 1977 or so. I copied the serial number if anyone REALLY wants to know:

#127D3 J2815

It was altered drastically. I chatted with the workers for a bit, telling them where the original equipment would have been installed, etc. They were curious to know more about it.

You can hardly tell what it is anymore, what are those, Mickey Mouse ears sticking up in the front? I do like what they did with the vista views though. Did it still have any Airstream badges on it? It probably was an International, I think all Overlanders were Internationals.

Yup, still had all the A/S badges on it. The photo doesn't show it, but the streetside was cut out just like the curb side.

Despite the desecration of an A/S, you have to admit it's a pretty cool looking concession wagon. (It could lose the black mouse ears, however.)
