Airstream Chat! Tutorial & Focus group tonight!

If you are available to help us develop useful ideas for the chat feature of this community, please meet me in the chat room tonight (Tuesday July 9th @ 7:00 p.m. CST) so we can brainstorm and consolidate our ideas to share with the other members.

There will be a short tutorial to show members how to use the various features of the chat application. Come on, JOIN THE FUN!

I won't be there tonight..At least, I should be sleeping. :-}
The only tricky question I have is: Will there be plans in the future for voice chat added?
I'll try to catch up on the chat forum soonest.

I have to miss it due to a meeting (actually, my bi-monthly jam session which I would rather cut off a finger than miss). I, also, would like to see a summary of any decisions.

When I clicked to get on I got a message saying 'loading information' then a blank white screen. Does it only work when someone is on the other end.

Met the Chat Site at approximately 7:00PM EDT - There was one person on chat with me at that time - Soundman. A few minutes later PeterH came on and we exchanged comments several times and Soundman also exchanged comments. By 72-0 PM, no others had joined. I left for another appointment at approximately 720PM - dI did return after 800 PM, however no one was thee. My conclusion was that this was a good vehicle for meeting and discussing mutually interesting information. Would like to see it scheduled at a regular time.

I don't know if this chat is Browser dependent, like: does it work only on a certain version of Microsoft's IE. Sometime in the past, I recalled that the earliest version wouldn't support some of the features found on java enabled websites.
Do you have java enabled? There may be other issues as well to consider but, to wit: ans ur question, "No, there doesn't have to be anyone else there for it to open up".
Another thought just came to me; When you got that blank screen, did you infact scroll your page down??? I've noticed on several sign-in's that, I in fact had a small blank screen and, upon scroll'in my page downward..found the chat window loaded.
Just a thought from the woods of NH..

Click on the tab near the top that says chat. Then wait for a little while for the chat window to load. Then you will need to login - you will be prompted.
