Airstream Argosy BnB

I've seen some Airstreams in CA mainly used as BnBs but none here in the Charleston area on the east coast. Thinking about using our rehabbed Argosy for this as there seems to be an active market here for rooms on AirBnB. Does anyone have any experience with this? Trying to determine if selling the trailer is the better financial answer. Appreciate advice, comments, or thoughts.

Does local zoning allow an RV to be used as an occupied space? I'd check with City Hall before assuming that you can do this.

think like a cost accountant, and a marketing department

Sometimes cool ideas don't make financial sense. if the trailer has sentimental value, you could keep it as a guest house

#1 Risk factor is low, money wise. You don't stand to lose much

#2 Gain factor is low. You won't get rich.

#3 Consider how much time and effort it will take to clean camper, towels, and bedding.

#4 Figure out how much time and effort goes into advertising, marketing, and booking.

#5 Know that you might need to be ready to change your plans and stay home.

#6 Do you have an awesome scenic location, close to activities?

#7 How much could people that want to stay in a trailer afford to spend?

#8 Insurance costs? Taxes? Commercial property?

#9 Wild tenants? Damage?
