Hi,

I carry a motor scooter on back of my trailer, but don't worry, I mounted four 6 volt golf cart batteries on the tongue to balance out my tongue weight. Oh , and don't worry about the middle either, I run 75 lbs in my ST tires.

It seems I need to poke around in more threads!

Here's my suggestion - I haven't seen it on the forums outside of the whole WBCCI non-Airstream motorhome issue, but I KNOW the feelings run deep: "Should Airstream have ever made a motorhome at all?"

Deal of the century!

I just bought this trailer on craigslist for $3000.00 dollars! Minor water damage!? Did I do good?

My Airstream manual says to only jack up the Airstream on the jack points.....but my neighbors hairdressers boyfriend says he puts a small grapefruit in the sewer pipe, slips the jack under the pipe, and it jacks the entire Airstream off the ground. I tried it and it worked but just to make sure I was safe I used three rolls of paper towels front and 2 sides in back for jack stands. Make sure you use USA grapefruit, I would not trust the Chinese imports.

Airstream missed the boat (Yacht) and should have switched all production to powered units when they had the chance. Those tin cans seem to have a lot of problems if you look at the threads on this site!

Where's my moment?

So, I studied all those beam theory formulas hoping they'd help me set up my Hensley to my AirSafe hitch, but no matter where I looked on the tongue, on the Hensley, or on the airSafe, I just can't find the "moment"!
