15000 BTU...I prefer Carrier. But, I also like the low profile Penguin...work well and are not box like on top of the Airstream.

I recently read that Carrier air conditioners are no longer available.

Carrier has been out if the RV cooling business for 5 years. They made a quality unit but their warranty and tech support was horrible. I can't say I miss them.

I have a dometic 13500 btu low profile on my 65 overlander. I live in Oklahoma ( very hot summers), seems to work well for me& I also really like the digital wall thermostat !

I would definitely go with a 15,000btu and I prefer the heat pump instead of the straight air conditioner.
