My wife and I have "named" our Airstream and our cars, but they are just tools and we use them as such.

It's interesting. I ride bicycles a lot. I ride to work some and on my time off do long distance riding. Before this post it never occured to me to name one of my bicycles and I just can get up the desire to do that either. I don't know why and I've probably thought too much about this already so on to more important stuff.

Oh, come on!

Here we all are with cabin fever and the mid winter doldrums. . .and then along comes this terrific post that made me laugh so hard! Doc may have been reading posts just a short while, but does he ever "get it!" Go back and read it again. Doc, I thought your post was great. We needed this fresh and funny look at ourselves. Thanks. I'm still laughing!

C'mon, all the clues are there:

Thanks Doc
It made me think how short life is and so I went out and hugged my trailer at it's 8 foot wide behind. I will take even better care of it cause it's our only baby. Who gives a rats rump what other people think, love your stuff if you want to.

Talking

Well Tinsel, I should have taken Doc's advice. I not only went out and hugged my trailer but then tried to kiss it in this cold weather. Ouch! You know the rest of the story if you watched "Christmas Story."

Doc:

Look what you started!

People kicking, hugging, kissing their Airstreams.

Stop the Insanity!

Tell us what you named your "baby" (the 86 - 34' Excella)?

Angry Nobody calls my Rivetaire a "whore" and gets away with it!

I think the good Dr. C has a phobia. His Airstream must be a "Pimp." (Maybe a teeny weeny pimp at that.) He might hate his mommy too.

Pine container? No thanks. Sounds too much like my neighbor's leaky SOB trailer. I'd rather be buried in an AIRSTREAM.
