Bummer you couldn't have waited and joined us in Lake City and Ouray. We just did two spectacular nights in our trailer, and have had countless fun miles four wheeling!

'Falia,
I really tried for Lake City and was very close but a family commitment (my wife's side) captured our weekend... We talked about you guys.
Are you posting pics?

Just gorgeous--though xray, if you live in Santa Fe, you can probably get amazing pics just shooting your trailer in your own driveway!

Homesick for Colorado
All those pictures of Colorado make me a bit homesick. I grew up in Lakewood, graduated high school in Colo Spgs, and went to college at WSC in Gunnison.
Been to Lake City and the hot springs at Ouray a few times!
It's a bit of a haul from Georgia, but we'll make it back someday.

Lev, Jack, Canoe, 'Falia, et al,
Thanks for the reviews and the fun with the pirate theme. I always thought Airstreamers needed a little bit of needling - we can be a bit conservative, can't we? To our credit though, safety prevails above all else.
It's fun trucking down the highway pulling an Airstream with a Jolly Roger on the back. We get positive comments everywhere. I've used Cafe Press to create mugs with our logo on them for our guests (yep, my wife sometimes thinks I've gone overboard). I've yet to start flying a flag... In case you didn't know, "The Silver Pearl" is a play on "The Black Pearl" from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
The thumbnails just don't do the view justice. It is awe inspiring up there in the Colorado Sangre's... And, it was cool with light evening rains. It's been a scorcher in the SW.
The Treg continues to tow the 22' with ease. Homebound yesterday, we needed to climb a pretty aggressive hill at the Santa Fe Opera. The Treg dropped a gear or two and we passed everything including the passenger cars struggling up the hill. Bear in mind that Santa Fe is over 7,000 feet in elevation so we're running at something less than 75% of power.
I remember the "old days" when I'd be staring at the rear view as much as ahead, stressed out because I was holding up traffic. No more.
Hope you all are enjoying the summer!

Hey anybody who has a dog who wears a pirate cap and another wearing an eye patch is ok in my book!

Avast Matie,
Great pix. I like the clean lines of the the 22 footer's narrow body in your aft shots.
But I'm really looking forward to the much anticipated port side Lizardhead Pass photo in the future!
I've posted some pix of our sea-going summer adventures so far.
Best!

Arrrr Bob,
I am anxious to get that photo op on Lizardhead too...
I was hoping to convince my 2nd mate to sail into Telluride this trip but, as they say, no cigar!
Argh! Maybe next time.

One of the prettiest places I've ever seen. We're lucky to be able to camp there whenever we want (we're actually welcome!). BTW, Colorado.
