70 land yacht

Almost bought this '70 AS the other day to use while remodeling mine. Its a 29 footer by my measurment although the seller thought it was 33' but no way. A few dings but in very good shape. Interior walls looke like it was unused.

If any one is looking this would be a good deal at $5900 OBO

The guy who has it is really nice and I will be glad to put anyone in touch.

David

It could be a '33-footer', Airstream measurments are taken from tip of the tongue to the back bumper. Sometimes they rounded up or down to the nearest foot having even numbers one year and odd the next. Typically the tongue & bumper make up about 3-4' of the overall size.

Was there a Model name - Like Sovereign or Ambassador on the Land Yacht tag? That would help determine the length.

I think you are right. It must be a 33. I believe its a sovereign and has two axles. In anycase it looked quite good and the rear bath was imaculate.
