Airstream is the only brand that is measured in overall length. Every other brand just measures the living quarters. Our 30' airstream's are really 27' trailers to everyone else. I want you to realize this when buying, and making reservations for your Airstream.

We have a 30 with a slide out and while weve had some tight moments getting in/out, weve never had a problem actually finding a spot that will fit both our Armada & AS. Having said that, when (if) I call a place to ask about availability, I always ask if they can accommodate a 30 AS.

Im looking for a 2nd trailer for those Cali state parks with a 22/24 limit. Love the space in my 31 and for longer trips and actually living as opposed to weekending I️t, cant imagine going much below 26-28 and then too big for many Cali state parks I️ think ?? Having owned the 31 for a few years, LOVE the space and have surprised myself by how easy to maneuver, backup and park. Its mind over matter. I think people, me included, are freaked out by the length. Look at where I️ just parked my trailer yesterday. Totally insane but where theres a will there a way !! Click image for larger version
