I heard new subfloor were in 2020

I heard somewhere, don't remember where, that AS was putting a new NOT wood, non rotting, subfloor in the 2020 models. I thought it's about time! Wonder if we will be able to confirm that in the next few days.

Flying cloud gets a different stove and radio for 2020. From what I am told, it is not necessarily an upgrade, just a different supplier. No longer Dometic.

Compared to our International FB model, the 2020 23 Twin takes out the oven and relocates the microwave to under the new stovetop. Narrower/taller/larger capacity 3-way refrigerator. All to make room for driver side twin. Shorter closet allows room for twin on curb side. Better location for thermostat and solar panel IMHO. Upgraded mattresses.

A winner combo for sure!

Enjoy your new ride and let us know how it shakes out.

The oven in the video is the convection microwave option which we opted for, but there is a gas oven. The closet on the drivers side looses the drawers (biggest backdrop in my opinion), but I am not quite sure that the bigger closet next to the freezer is any smaller.

I’ll bet you are excited, Gallego!

I’m almost done replacing the queen bed in my Serenity 23FB with two 34” x 80” twin beds, which are the same size as you are getting. I did not have to modify the roadside (side that the refrigerator is on) for the new twin bed frame and mattress to fit within the bedroom. For the curbside (side that the dinette table is on), I did remove the two drawers under the wardrobe in the bedroom for the twin bed to fit. You end up with extra space at the foot of the mattress under this curbside wardrobe, which Airstream placed a cubbyhole for storage in the Globetrotter 23FB Twin. The placement of this cubbyhole is displayed at time 1:51 in this video by Airstream of South Florida .

Combining the bedroom floor space into a single center aisle between the two twin beds makes the bedroom more functional in my view. You have picked a terrific floor plan and model to enjoy!

Gallegos, are there Sterlite bins under the beds to make up for the removal of the two passenger side closet drawers?

Apparently yes, there are a couple storage spaces under the beds, but as I said I haven’t pick it up yet. It will happen next Friday

Oh yeah, you said that. Sorry. This model just pumps me up. Hopefully, Colonial gets them in soon.
Looking forward to your future report.

I like that kitchen sink a lot better than the round one in the Flying Cloud

So looks like 2020 is a bust eh? Nothing news worthy really.
