2018 New AS's...taking orders now?

I just talked with my AS dealer about ordering a 25 or 27 FC FB unit with a single A/C, and he said that would have to be a 2018 unit and likely would not be ready till early May. Anyone have any updates on the new units for 2018 yet? I could not get any information other than it would likely be a little more expensive; no details of any new options...crazy to order blind is my instinct here. But, also hate to wait if it will take 2 months!
Other question; since I typically travel in Northern states in summer and TX in winter months, I rarely use the air...thoughts on the dual vs getting the single. We have always had the 25', but now thinking perhaps a 27' for the wife....is a single sufficient for a 27'?

I've gone back and forth too, but I live in Florida.
I think the 30 amp plug on the front is genius, for the convenience of a gen in the truck bed, even for a quick stop for lunch.
Two airs is a $2100 option, but I'm leaning towards two.
If you avoid the heat, I'd go with one.
