It occurred to me today that this layout would be ideal for anyone in a wheelchair or with other mobility needs. Easy to enter and exit, good access to the facilities, and room to maneuver to the bed.

We like it, a bit rustic but comfortable design theme. If we could get two light brown leather recliners and a hickory folding table to replace the dinette arrangement, we would be at home on the road.

If I were in the mkt for a new one, that would be it. Twin beds as an option would be nice. Unfortunately the bank has dried up.

Believe this was what I saw on the line at Airstream last Sept when I took the tour and thought were Eddie Bauer's.

I love Pendleton and Airstreams. I love the National Park Service.

But that is the ugliest thing I have ever seen.

I don't believe it's the ugliest, but I also don't think it does either brand any favors.

I've got a bunch of Pendleton shirts and blankets that I love. I love my Airstream. But... This isn't a great marriage.

Don't like the design etched in the overhead doors or on the cushions and the wallpaper design. I do prefer the kitchen layout with the single rectangular sink vs the round sink that sticks out into the aisle on the conventional 27fbs. Looks like easy access to items stored under the sink. The wood grain is neutral to me. Maybe if I see one in person I may like it more or less.

Beautiful, love it. I want one. But at 100 only, I'm sure they will be insanely priced.

The wood reminds me of 70's era wood grain formica (which is lighter and wears like iron)

My parents love it. It's too rustic for me, but I'm glad to see the rear hatch is being utilized. I will hope that 2017 brings new interior options. Maybe Airstream can just add this to the line up of International Signatures, Serenities, and Flying Clouds.

I already miss the Eddie Bauer -- I was so hoping they'd come out with a twin bed model. Sigh.

I want the dog bed!

I wish I were young, handsome, and loaded enough to afford one like those two.

Pendleton Edition

Went to the RVIA trade show in Louisville. They had one. For those that don't like it I will say it looks better in person. Was told approximate list pricing around $120k. Limited edition only 100 being made. The rear EB style door seemed narrower than the EB's. The EB's didn't do it for me but this looked a little classier and I liked it. It was neat being able to open up the rear to the outside and use the screen or not while sitting at the dinette.

This thread is interesting and I hope the unit sells well but the price seems a bit steep for my tastes.

I like the rear hatch and suspect this is the same design for the hatch/door as the previous Eddie Bauer. Maybe they can find a way to implement that concept on more models and make it more cost effective. The rear hatch seems like a feature that is relatively unique in the travel trailer market, albeit similar to toy haulers.

Regarding the limited edition of 100... I suspect many Airstream models only sell 100 or so in a given year. Considering total annual production, the variety of floor plans - including twin vs. queen arrangements and front vs. rear bedroom - and any given model probably sells 100 units or less. Okay, okay I'll consent that the Pendleton is limited. If nothing else, it will only be around for a year or so. The Pan America... now that was really limited. Even the relatively new Land Yacht is probably less than 100 per year.

I'm sure there's somebody out there that knows the production numbers. I'm just guessing and I may be quite wrong.

Here's a video walkthrough of the new Pendleton:

https://youtu.be/Ly-SpEedo7Y

I must say that the cabinetry looks better in the video than it does in the photos. Also, it looks like there are a lot of Classic-level features on this trailer that weren't on the EB - automatic awning, Polk audio system, electric stabilizer jacks, doorbell, etc. I guess that explains the price premium over the EB model.
