Clicked on them - Neatstream, aka Patrick Botticelli of Colonial, had posted a couple of pictures of the Sterling - one with a Serenity floor, the other with an Eddie Bauer floor. The original Sterling with a choice of electric magenta or day-glo-mustard flooring was just too out there for my taste. I think all of the faux aluminum laminate leaves the unit looking a bit like an operating room, but still the alternate floors were a huge improvement. I PM'ed Patrick asking if these were photoshopped or really available. No word yet. Perhaps that's something else that will have to wait for May 15.

They do exist-we recently purchased a Sterling 27FB in the Arctic Dijon with the Eddie Bauer flooring, but it's funny-I would have loved the original mustard-colored flooring! I wasn't able to find one, however, and it seems that Airstream is no longer producing more Sterlings. The interior does look quite sterile, but I love it-it's bright, clean, and like a blank canvas, it takes on colorful accessories/bedding beautifully!

When we ordered our Classic, we paid $450 extra for the stock International Serenity flooring versus the fake wood look and also added an aluminum backsplash behind the bathroom sink.

Wishing -

I was in the factory 2 weeks ago and it was still producing Sterlings. In fact the tour guide specifically pointed out the special Sterling flooring material. This morning the Airstream website still has the Sterling line featured under its travel trailer tab and the mustard color (Arctic Dijon) is shown.

Interesting...our dealer told us Airstream wasn't producing more Sterlings for 2015, and I supposed that was the reason for getting a great deal on ours, but that's good to know otherwise. I really want to see that Dijon floor in person!

The 2015 models start production around mid-May and the first ones will show up at Colonial since they are Airstream's largest customer since all Airstreams are only sold to dealers.

Check their website:

Colonial Airstream - Airstream Travel Trailer, Bambi, Flying Cloud, International Signature, Serenity, Classic Limited, Interstate, Sport
