1974 27' Overland with rear double bed

Was told that this was not a standard production model. I can't find any documentation in the manuals on it. It is all original does anyone have any thoughts.

Welcome to the forums.
They Didn't make very many of them. The few I've seen have been rear twins. All two of them.
This guy has one, maybe you can compare notes:

Thanks. Do you know anyone near Charlotte NC that may be a good tutor for a new owner? I am looking forward to many happy years

There are a couple in that area. I'll be seeing at least one of them in a couple of weeks, and can ask if they would mind trying to keep you from going down in flames.

BTW, I'm the guy that told you about the literal handful of trailers like yours when you dropped it off for repairs.

Pretty interesting. I never knew such a floor plan existed in an Overlander (rear bedroom, twins or double). The owners and service manuals don't list such floorplans. Would be interested in a few pictures, too.

Somewhere I have seen floor plans for a mid 70s OL with the rear double bed.
I can't seem to find them now. The bathroom was on one side or another just to the rear of the kitchen area.
Mine is the center twin which works better for me as I mainly use it as a hunting/fishing shack and prefer the twin to having to cozy up to my hunting buddies.

I will try to figure out how to post some but I have it at the dealer now getting worked over. It will work great for me because I plan to use it mostly as a guest house in the mountains.

Thanks I may try to contact the factory but I don't think it is that big of a deal. It will work great for me because I plan to use it mostly as a guest house in the mountains.

If I get a chance, with the trailer owner's permission I can snap a few photos of the trailer, and post them.

I took some photos with my camera, as well as a teaser for when I can get home and post them properly.
If this photo loads, it is a photo of rare and rarer. A 1973 Ambassador with rear double, and the 1974 Overlander with rear double:

Sigh... I guess it will have to wait until I get home.
