1970 Caravanner

Hi everyone,
I just picked up 70' Caravanner from a storage unit auction. Nobody showed up, so get this, I bid $1.00 and won it. The exterior is in excellent condition, no scratches, no dings. The interior is in dusty and old condition, but all there, and all working. This is my second Airstream, and my 6th TT. I can't wait to begin the clean up, and restoration on this one. My plans are to do a complete restoration, as this airstream is well worth the effort and time. I will post pictures within the next couple days. I will be on here in the near future seeking advise and looking for info. Is there any more 70 Caravanners on this site? I couldn't find anything online about it. Is it rare?
Thank you, Rick

Welcome to the forums! The only way your deal could have been better, is if you found a mattress full of money inside, that would have helped finance your rehab on the trailer.
Caravanners were not that plentiful, so it is kind of rare.

How did you find out about an auction like that?
