What kind of Hubs can I....?
Hello all from Amarillo, sure is nice to be close to Walmart instead of a forest full of oaks, spiders, feral cats etc.
Here is a photo of my wheels.
They have these welded in metal TABS and I was hoping to put baby moons on them. So far nothing seems to fit and I may be have to put whole hubcabs on them. They are 15 inch I believe...what is your feed back about the nicest coverings for them? Thankyou...Bill

Howdy Bill,
I'm pretty sure you have "split wheel rim's", most folks here would advise replacing them.
These stainless covers looked good on our 63 Safari...

Robert will these covers 'go over' the center part? If so I will go with that you show.

Billy,
Boy, hard to tell from the picture of your wheel. How far does the hub extend. If it's not beyond the wheel rim they should fit ok. You might be able to find them at a local auto speed shop to try out.
Stay away from the aluminum ones, they look pretty much the same but are nowhere near as strong...stick with stainless.

They're not split rims.

I have similar 15" rims on one of my campers. The hubcap is 9" across the outside and about 7 5/8" across the inside with a 1/2" lip.

Baby Moon Hubcaps
Thanks for having this thread still on the site.
It helped me find hubcaps for our tires.
I have a 1960 AS Tradewind Land Yacht.

I just put baby moons on my '66 Safari this weekend. They look great! It took a while to figure out how to do it but I made it. I ended up having to bend the clips ever so slightly to get them to grab. They seem to be on nice and tight now. On the other hand, though, there was no way I could get the beauty rings to grab on. I was really hoping they would work but finally gave up on them. I bought the rings and baby moons from Hubcap Mike's in Orange, CA
