anyone with pics to share of patches installed where tire blow outs damaged skin above wheel wells?

have some skin damage from a tire that blew out. am going to cut a patch and rivet over the damaged area but would like to see other peoples pics of fixes.

any photos to share of repair patches to aluminum after blow out damage?

You might try looking at Goodyear Marathon Failures, someone just posted about their damage to the wheel well after their tire blew apart...

I hooked the underside panel on a cement barrier that was hidden in the snow in a driveway. I simply went to Lowes and purchased sheet aluminum large enough to cover the tear. I cut the piece to shape and pop riveted it into place, starting at the top edge and working my way down the sides and then across the bottom. You would never have guessed it wasn't original except for the shine.
My insurance took care of the repairs but the shop was impressed with my temporary fix.

Take a look here. I should have taken an "after" photo, but the repair is only noticeable if you get your eye level down almost to the belly pan level.
