Sealant for Wheel Well Liner on 05

I just noticed that on one end of one of the wheel wells on my 05 Safari that it appears some sealant is missing. The area I'm talking about is the bottom few inches on the outside edge where the wheel well liner (black plastic) contacts the belly pan plastic. It looks like the factory used some sort of black rubber caulk over top of some putty that was used to fill the gap between the liner & the belly pan. I'm concerned about water getting thrown into the underbelly because it feels like there is a hole. I'm leaving on a trip in a couple of days (and expecting rain), so I'm looking for something compatible I can get at Lowes or Home Depot. The stuff is definitely not silicone, doesn't feel like regular polyurethane caulk (not a slick enough skin) - it almost seems like butyl rubber.

Anybody know what the factory is using in this area now? I don't have time to order Vulkem if that's what it is.

Thanks

Doesn't matter what the factory uses, you can't get it in time. I would use Sikaflex 291, which you can get at most marine stores, like West Marine.
